Wednesday walk on Panoramic Trail

In today's Wednesday walk, I will talk about a hiking trail that I explored in Topolica, Aytos Balkan.

My friends and I had reserved a hut in the area to celebrate a name day, but I arrived very early at the place. My friends weren't arriving anytime soon, and in just a few hours the forecast was going to start raining and it wouldn't stop for the next two days. It was clear that if I didn't go to explore the trail myself now, there was no way it would happen later given the worsening weather. So I took water, a small backpack and went up.

The panoramic trail is named after Hristo Budakov and there is absolutely no information about it. The sign indicating the start of the trail can be seen as you drive along the paved road from the village of Topolitsa to the Topolitsa hut.

The path began with pine and oak trees. It was lined with pine needles and noise. In places I had to jump over fallen branches and trees.

Rocks with beautiful green mosses made me stop and enjoy their beauty.

I found mushrooms in the grass.

In places the path became stony.

I was passing beautiful rocks.

There were beautiful views from above

I came to a pyramid built of stones and if I went straight up I would reach the wind vanes which were the highest part in the area.

I headed that way and I have to pick up my pace quite a bit, not only was the wind very strong, but it started to drizzle a little.

I hurried back to the lodge, but on the paved road, and by the time I arrived, my friends had already started gathering together.
