Wednesday walk in Genger Ethnographic Complex

My Wednesday walk today is in the Genger Ethnographic Complex. The place is located in the town of Aytos, located in Southeast Bulgaria.
The complex is a section where there is a museum, a winery, a tavern, a hotel part and the most interesting part for me - the alley with the small craft workshops. I wanted to visit it and look for a certain clay vessel that I wanted to buy from the local craftsmen.

Unfortunately, it turned out that at this time of year the place is quite deserted. There were only two workshops open.

One was the one I wanted to see, but unfortunately, despite the huge variety of objects made of clay, I could not find the one I was looking for.

In front of the pottery called "Orleto" there are many pigeons, the white ones of which are extremely beautiful.

Another workshop was open and there I met a wonderful lady who, with her own hands, had made a whole fairy-tale world, gathered in one room.

There were wonderful children's folk costumes.

There were souvenirs and children's toys made of fabric.

Here were her sewing machine and overlock.

It was also full of knitted toys.

There were old objects like this metal iron, a spindle that the woman showed me how to use.

I bought a souvenir in the form of a bag containing a part of the Genger plant (Aitroski wedge), which is extremely prickly and is an endemic species.

I left this place with pleasant feelings and a full heart.
