Wednesday walk among the sand lilies

My Wednesday walk today is among the charming sand lilies located on Arkutino beach. It is located on the Southern Black Sea Coast and is part of the Ropotamo reserve.

With girlfriend we traveled by car early in the morning to Arkutino, which is located just after the town of Sozopol.

We took a walk among the sand dunes walking along the wooden paths.

Right from the beginning we started seeing sand lilies, and soon we met a turtle.

Itr was early in the morning there were almost no people and the beach was deserted.

We walked along a small wooden bridge.

The further into the wild we went, the more sand lines we saw.

Soon we came across a whole meadow of them and it was so nice to enjoy their gentle beauty.

Sand lilies bloom during the summer months, mainly in July and August, and are protected plants. They are also called the "Queen of Flowers".

Our walk among these plants was unique and so refreshing.
