Trip to the mouth of the Ropotamo River

Today I will tell you about a wonderful hike that I took with a girlfriend to the mouth of the Ropotamo River last Sunday.

At this time of year, nature wakes up from its winter sleep and we knew the hike would be beautiful and exciting.

We started the hike trip from the sand dunes of Arkutino beach.

There are two paths that lead to the mouth of the river and we chose the one that starts from the rocks and leads along the sea views.

The trail passed through varied terrain.

At times we would enter the forest and enjoy the forest vegetation.

We pass through open areas with incredible views of the cliffs and the Black Sea.

We stopped in places to enjoy the beauty and admire the hundreds of blooming crocuses.

We also saw Anemone flowers.

We soon reached a clearing covered in sand dunes and the path led us to a spacious beach.

We could already see the Ropotamo River right where it flows into the sea - a beautiful sight that you can hardly forget.

It was very windy here and although it was beautiful, we didn't stay long because it got cold.

The return journey was no less interesting.

We took a new fork and I enjoy more forest mosses, crocuses, and trees.

We found more wooden buildings built last summer.

This is a wonderful route that I'm doing for the second time and I'm sure I've done it at least a few more times because it's really worth it.

Thank you for stopping by!
