Helichrysum italicum - Harvesting and drying time

0.jpg

The immortelle plant has bloomed in our garden. The variety we have in one of our beds is Helichrysum italicum.

I use it mainly for decoration as an ingredient in bouquets and arrangements.

Its other useful use is its use in creams, infusions and oils. It has a strong anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant effect. It helps with bruises and bruises.

Now that I have picked it, I have tied it into bouquets that I will dry.

Oh wow I have never seen this before. It doesn't exist in South East Asia 🤔

I am now very curious what you will do with it after fully dried

After drying it, I make bouquets from it and make oil with cold-pressed olive oil 😍

How lovely to see that your Helichrysum italicum is in bloom! There's something so special about seeing them brighten up the garden. I love that you're not only enjoying their beauty in bouquets and arrangements but also honoring their healing properties. There's such a calming, intentional rhythm to the way you’ve harvested and tied them for drying, it feels like a quiet celebration of both nature and tradition.

It’s inspiring to see how you bring together beauty, usefulness, and care in your garden life. 🌼💛 Enjoy!
