What's the 411?

Happy easter season and a new week. It's been a while - half a month - since my last post. I got sick and took time out. Started recovering so took time out. Recovered and then took time out. There has been lots of reading the past weeks and a lot of that was romance drama that it seemed I have a new pleasure in reading things that would annoy me, it's pretty distracting and that's the entertainment.

Last week, I got my butt kicked in court when the client I was representing embarrassed me and put me in a negative light with a senior lawyer who rejected my apology and I didn't know whether to be sad or angry with the the whole event. The lesson I learned is that "nice people would get trampled on" and "sometimes you need to be rude to assert your right and no one would disregard you when they know you can give them tit for every tat they dish you" a.k.a being the good girl can get you into trouble. I certainly learned that lesson because I feel I'm going to start biting people henceforth at the slightest provocation.

That aside I haven't thought about art in a similar time frame and that's me not feeling like drawing anything even though I know the moment I start something, I'll get sucked into it again but it's seems there's no hurry to get back on that train. Before the illness I started this portrait (text added today), maybe something would come out of it in the future

Then I did make an attempt last Friday with a sketch but it was feeling groggy like I don't know what to do or I have forgotten.

I think the first point of call is to finish my animation projects first that have been hanging out for months and we'll see how it all goes from there.
