August Break

Hello hello!

The rain season might be on a short recess. High court judges are on holiday. I might be on a short. I am currently at chapter 1196, vol 6 of Lord of the Mysteries and it seems to be the only high I get lately. It’s either “I can’t wait to be free from work so I can continue reading” or it’s “I don’t have work today, I’m going to read all day”. Then at night, I read till my brain force shuts down, wake up repeat. For two weeks. If I was going to psychoanalyse myself rightly know, it’ll be that I’m in some state of denial and choosing escapism.

There was also this illustration from last week that I had high hopes for but then I wasn’t feeling it as much as I thought it would turn out to be. That sort of put me off doing new projects. Fortunately, I had already started two other sister pieces and one of them is already almost finished. As for third, I can barely recall the original plan.

Looking at this almost a week later I can say it’s not so bad. I will let the future me decide what’s missing.

But today is a little bit different. I’m watching a movie I found on my system titled Colourful Movie which is actually anime but I dont recall what it’s about. From the first 50s I can tell it has some supernatural elements. We’ll see. Hopefully it’s a ggod one
