Social Media Challenge - Noa The Just Bring Justice

Prelude
Good day to all, how are all of you doing? We've just come through a massive maintenance which is bringing big changes to the Splinterlands community. If you are not aware, starting next season which happens in about nineteen hours time, you will need an entry pass in order to be able to battle in Wild Ranked.

The wild season pass costs 40 VOUCHERS or 2,000 DEC or 2,000 DECB or 2,000 CREDITS.

With this, it is supposed to put a deterrence on bots which are only allowed in Wild Ranked. However, for players whom have been actively build up their Wild collection, this becomes a big hurdle for them as this pass to me, is not cheap and only last for one season. So expect a big change in terms of players within Wild and the earning per match if you play in Wild. On top of that, the SPS staking requirements for Wild has doubled, so if you had 1000 SPS staked previously, you will now need 2000 SPS staked in order to have the same reward multiplier as per before the maintenance. This action looks a little harsh, but it is really there to solve the long standing bot problem. So new players, instead of attempting to compete in Wild, please switch to Modern instead. Now let's get on with today's sharing on Noa The Just.

Noa The Just
I love this card especially when I want to play melee on Water Splinter. This is a reward Soul Bound card and absolutely amazing with what it can do. When paired up with something that can give it Weapons Training, this card itself can also gain additional purpose of hitting opponent with what it was being trained on. The key to this card is the rust which gives you advantage as you will be able to touch your opponent card if they have less than 2 armour.

In case you are not familiar with Noa The Just, here is how the card looks like and how its stats and abilities increase with each level increase:

At level 1 and 2, this card has Rust. The speed stat of this card is crazy with not many faster than it. While it Rust off opponent armour, the card itself has a crazily thick armour to allow it to survive longer. To be honest, the stats of this card makes it not an easy card to kill. To make things worse for opponent, at level 3, this card gains Dodge and at level 5 gains Backfire. When Noa The Just gain this 2 ability, it just makes it a pain to face. Imagine how the opponent would feel if you manage to dodge their attack and return them some damage. And worse at level 6, after putting up so much effort to kill it, it give Martyr and boost something adjacent to it. A very nice card where the abilities combo each other and bring its effectiveness to the fullest. So now let's proceed to look at a match that I played which used Noa The Just.

Today's Battle Sharing

Mana Limit: 38

Selection Analysis
38 Mana onto 4 cards and unable to use neutral cards. So in this case I maximize mana lineup, using Pembrook Nymph because it has higher level than my own Kelya and put up Coastal Nymph at first position to strike hard with its 4 damage double strike, supported by Noa The Just at 2nd position for the Rust and gaining attack from Kulu Mastermind at 3rd position while Swamp Spitter takes the last spot to consistently repair armour.

On my opponent, he fielded something similar with Diemonshark which can capitalize the Stampede ruleset, Coastal Sentry followed behind with Deeplurker for that opportunity and also the Swamp Spitter for armour repiar.

Round by Round Synopsis

Round 1 - Nothing major happening in the first round but we can see that opponent's Swamp Spitter is dangerously low in health, which means they will not get any more repair soon.

Round 2 - Kulu Mastermind opened the round by smashing Swamp Spitter while Coastal Sentry cleared out Diemonshark. My own Coastal Sentry got cleared out by opponent's copy. And now we have a card that can attack right at front position in Noa The Just.

Turn 3 - Noa The Just opened the round by killing Coastal Sentry while the backline easily disposed the reamining Deeplurker to secure the victory! What a win that complete so quickly and nicely.

Battle Summary
What a nice match that is high in intensity. The presence of Noa The Just actually made it tough for Swamp Spitter on repairing and open up the defense of my opponent. With that, it made it easy for Kulu Mastermind to take out cards not forgetting opponent was using Kelya which gave +1 armour to opponent lineup. The early wreck of opponent Swap Spitter paved the way to the win while my cards take out card by card with Noa The Just landing 1 kill as well. I am glad with the result and glad on how good Noa The Just is.
