dCity Progress Update #21

Introduction
Good day to everyone, a week had passed in the city and it's time to update the progress of my city and the things that happen in the city. There is a further announcement on the claiming on students from some combined buildings and some mentioning on SIM Club.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

My City
The below screenshot is how my city looks like at this moment, so glad that I am all balanced right now.

Everything is looking almost the same. Previous week in the income portion it was -1SIM + 37 SIM, but today it is 1 SIM + 36 SIM. I haven't got the time to truly study what was the cause of this change, but generally not a very big change. Recently I have yet to see Young Citizens popping to become student. Hopefully I will be able to see this happening soon in the near future.

New Updates from the Developers
In the last post I've mentioned about some incoming changes and there are new announcements so I will do a quick share. Full details please go to check out the announcement page in dCity discord.

The last post, I've mentioned about student claim for Communal Housing, Luxury Street and Migration Center is coming. And it is now live and active. To claim the first student you will need to fork out 400 SIM (which is totally worth it), which another claim is available at 800 SIM (which is still very worth it) after 4 days. If you are willing to wait a little longer, claiming 8 days after the first claim, you can get it once again at 400 SIM. I think, this is really amazing, but too bad I do not have those cards yet and will need to find ways to obtain it either through combining or through the market.

Another thing that is mentioned was on SIM club. I am accumulating SIM bit by bit and hoping that I can accumulate 1million SIM in due time. At this moment, I am still a little far from it but with additional market trading and city growing, I am expecting to be able to get more SIM to finally qualify for SIM Club.

Being part of SIM Club entitles one to be able to claim a free student daily, participate in discord giveaways and help shape the future of dCity. I think is really good and it also gives me a direction to work towards. Without goals, we will get lazy, so this will be a good milestone to achieve.

Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 197,812 SIM. Manage to sell a couple of Young Citizens to boost up my SIM holdings.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, the 30 day average of my SIM power will continue to increase and then translate to move liquid Hive earning per day. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:

Assuming no increase in Sim Power, I will get 0.96 liquid Hive per month. The numbers continue to increase and building towards the goal I had for using the liquid Hive to fund for Hive Power Up Day as we inch towards a 1 Hive per month from just this earning. At this moment, it look a little too small and insignificant to being able to get 10 Hive per month, however as I continue to grow, one day I know I will reach there.

Closing
I like how closely developers share progress in the game and upcoming plans. This is a sign that the developers really care for the gaming experience of the players which is a real key important factor for a successful game.
