Art Communicates Our Deepest Emotions, Art is Self Expression.

Art is an expression of our emotions, our feelings, and our mood at a particular time or season, we can regard art as self expression, it expresses and communicate personal emotions .
Art communicate the creators feeling and emotion, it could be a poem, music, a sculpture, or a drawing that expresses how they feel , that reminds them of a particular season, it communicate their thoughts, and expresses their emotion, it could be love, hate, pain , happiness or sorrow.
An art work shouldn't be tagged or condemned as being " a bad art", because it's a person personal expression, giving an art work such remark, invalidates and downplays the artist or creator feeling and emotion in many unseen ways , because art communicate silently, it's self expression.
What looks bad to you , might make alot of sense and meaning to another person, so condemning a work of art, is like condemning, downplaying and invalidating a persons feeling or emotions.

While reading a poem , expecially those written by contemporary poets , it doesn't make sense to you , untill you dive into their world, then you would understand that those poets expressed their feelings, emotions, described their world and depicts every challenge they faced, through poetry.
The fact that it doesn't make sense to you, doesn't make it a bad work of art , art is beautiful, it gives absolute freedom of expression.

Also, poets like William Worthsword, T. S Elliot and other poets in the romantic era, they expressed so much emotions using poetry, they communicate their emotions and describe their pastoral environment and nature through poetry.
Obviously, the romantic poem won't make sense to us in this era, I only understood them when I analyzed them in a course of study , that you couldn't comprehend poetry and it aesthetic values doesn't make them bad work of art.
Art communicate our feelings, our world, our experiences and in poetry we speak our mind without being condemned.

I have watched someone who grew and improved their skill in poetry slam, because she was unskillful, whenever she performs, everyone laughs, and a particular day I pick up her paper to read and everything made complete sense to me, I saw what motivates her, from the rhythm, the pun, the diction , the appropriate use of figure of speech and how I felt, and I knew she never gave up because her work had so much aesthetic values, communicated her feelings and her view of the world.
Art is never bad, it's beautiful and valuable to the creator, condemning an art work, is like invalidating and downplaying the poets feeling.

Just like our old favorite, Fela Kuti, his music expresses his thoughts about bad government, the message might not make sense to many, to some it might be abusive to the government, but he expressed himself freely using a work of art and that's why I believe art is the best way of expression, and even when it seems bad to you, it's the artist feeling and it's very valid, there's no such thing as bad art, art is just the safest way we can express ourselves, it communicate our feelings, it communicate our thoughts, tagging a work of art as bad, is like invalidating and downplaying the artist feeling.
