Rep. Thomas Massie Seeks to Force Vote in Congress to Release Epstein Files

The Hill posted a report a few days ago that Massie is stepping up again to deliver congressional action the vast majority of Americans want.

"We all deserve to know what’s in the Epstein files, who’s implicated, and how deep this corruption goes. Americans were promised justice and transparency...We’re introducing a discharge petition to force a vote in the US House of Representatives on releasing the COMPLETE files...”

A discharge petition is an uncommon mechanism, so most Americans will be unfamiliar with it.

"Massie’s resolution, co-sponsored by Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), would require Attorney General Pam Bondi to “make publicly available in a searchable and downloadable format all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in the possession of the Department of Justice, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and United States Attorneys’ Offices” that have links with Epstein within 30 days of the measure becoming law.

"It also says the files cannot “be withheld, delayed, or redacted” should they cause “embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity, including to any government official, public figure, or foreign dignitary.”

According to the Hill, 218 votes are required to bypass House leadership, Speaker Mike Johnson, and force the release of the documents.

I hope it succeeds, because we are being misled by traitors whose heads need to roll for concealing the rule of spooks by blackmail. That is not constitutional, and is absolutely intolerable by a sovereign people. It would do us good to see a few convictions for treason, even some executions for the iatrocidal crimes the world has suffered as a result of these traitors. Thomas Massie is doing the Lord's work, IMHO.

Dear @valued-customer !
The world I live in is ruled by Chinese capital. The overlords are joining hands with Chinese capital and committing many acts that you can imagine.
The overlords justify such actions by claiming that they are acting in the best interests of the country.

The honor and interests of the The overlords are more important than those of commoners like me.

Individuals who reveal the secrets of the overlords to the public are subject to surveillance and criminal punishment.

So, I am always forced into silence and submission.

I envy the freedom of speech that American civilians have!

Thank you for good article!

"Individuals who reveal the secrets of the overlords to the public are subject to surveillance and criminal punishment."

Yes, and if that doesn't silence them, they tend to commit suicide, like Isaac Kappy and Virginia Giuffre.

Thanks!

The overlords train slaves like me with carrots and whips.

There is a pun here in English, because another word for donkey is ass, which also has the meaning of the bottom, the bulbous gluteal part we sit on and shit from. Ass, or asshole, is also an insult often used by Americans. I was tempted to say 'Don't be an ass!', but did not want you to miss my joke through translation difficulties.

@valued-customer, I'm wondering how many of those in Congress are on the list and if it exceeds the 218 required. If they are, they may never vote in the requirements for it to pass. Either way, I haven't seen a majority vote happen for something that the majority of the public wants, since I was born and able to understand what was explained to me in how congress operates.

I don't think it will happen either way, even if none are on the list because, I believe they're all puppets to the higher class of rulers who run the darker world where such a lists such as that of Epstein's list, is created. Either way I don't hold any hopium for this to actually make real progress other than to keep Americans on their toes in hope and faith over something that the same public should be handling themselves. Unfortunately, even if the American people are a majority of dissenters of this matter, they are very much still unorganized with the direction of their anger. Most still would blame the government rather than themselves for allowing such powers to be in the first place. imo, that would be where to start. Once they accept that they themselves are the cause for such thing to happen, then .maybe we will start seeing more real attempts to dismantle such corruption.

My opinion.

Even so, I was not notified, despite Peakd is set to notify me when I am tagged. It is only because I actively look at my comments when replying to someone that I happened to notice your comment, and gained the benefit of your assessment. Please do keep tagging me, as I am sometimes notified of being tagged. I don't know why I wasn't this time.

However, the required 218 votes were about to be cast, and the measure was going to pass, so Speaker Mike Johnson shut down Congress and sent them home for vacation a day early, delaying the vote at least until September. I was also surprised that what I have considered to be a nest of corrupt and spineless vipers with occasional honest men managing to infiltrate, was going to vote for Massie's bill. I suspect the pressure from constituents is overwhelming, and many representatives have been threatened with primaries if they don't vote for this bill. Americans are overwhelmingly outraged at the claim Epstein killed himself for not having trafficked any little kids or blackmailing anyone Trump and his toadies have made. We ALL know it's a lie.

Not a chance 218 vote for it. Not all necessary guilty but those not directly are on the take in some other way.

Were the votes not forthcoming, Speaker Johnson would have let the vote proceed to put an end to the matter. Believe me that I am as shocked as you that reports indicate the measure would have passed, as before the vote was prevented I was just as sure that they would not have passed it. I have very poor regard for Congress.

Hopefully the process will not take so long, the less time it takes, the faster justice can be served.

Rep. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, when confronted with the certain prospect Massie's bill would pass, sent Congress home a day early, and now the vote will not be able to occur until September.

Justice delayed is justice denied.
