Well, you write whatever you think about anything, and it's your thoughts you write about it. I don't really come up with original ideas as much as I notice things. It wasn't my idea to tax anyone, but I see that DV's tax folks.

However, if it strikes you as significant that I noticed this taxation DV's effect, then you are free to credit me for noticing it and bringing it to your attention. I name beneficiaries every time I make a post, so I don't think there's anything wrong with it. If I did I wouldn't do it. It's novel for me to be on the beneficiary side of things. I can't recall it ever happening before.

I don't have anything against Hive tokens, I just am not willing to let pecuniary interest in them change my behaviour, because I have learned that obsequity degrades me, while I have learned that doing things just because they're the right thing to do ennobles me, not only in the eyes of others, but in the eyes that matter, my own. Only if I have self respect can I merit the respect of others. I don't want to be party to or do anything that disrespects me. If I don't respect me, why should anyone else? I don't think money hurts people so much as what they do for it. It isn't money that is the root of all evil, but the love of money that causes people to do bad things.

I prefer goodwill to money, because if a tidal wave destroys my home and I am left bedraggled and forlorn ashore, goodwill will remain to me and the good people whom have it for me will act on it to feed and clothe me. I will still be a wealthy man if I have a fortune in goodwill. But if I have a phat stack under my mattress instead of goodwill when the wave comes, I will be poor, cold, and miserable when the wave goes out and takes my money with it. Also, it's never been said that the love of goodwill is the root of all evil. Generally I find that being greedy for goodwill causes people to do good things, because that's how you get it.

Goodwill is far more valuable than money to me. But that doesn't mean that being the beneficiary costs me my goodwill - unless I cause it to.
