RE: L.O.E.S - 5 - A Message To All Millennials

I wanted 14 children! However, I still have 11 to go, and I think I ran out of steam. Them I already spawned are just going to have to do. At least they're a good bunch, and all seem ready to tackle things from here. Best I can do, I reckon.

"Everything just seems malevolent."

I guess this depends on what you pay attention to. I see the new means of production developing and dispersing across the populations of the world and I am very excited. The ability to manufacture household goods, food, air, water, power, to store electricity with supercapacitors made of concrete doped with lamp black, supercheap and able to be part of the foundation of a home, so many possibilities newly available to folks with the merit to use them promise to create a new kind of world in history. A world in which dependence on corporations and governments isn't necessary anymore, in which our personal household AI enables automating the production and maintenance of the goods and services we need to enjoy the blessings of civilization, and in which securing our property is facilitated with modern technologies that make gangs of armed thugs hopelessly obsolete, and enable individuals, families, and independent communities to be more secure from the violence that has plagued society since the advent of agriculture than has ever before been possible.

It's like paradise is beckoning from just around the corner. The old world was a world of dependence on institutions, 'great men' - who almost always were actually shitty people, and failed us - and of gang violence in which the biggest gang took what they wanted and the weakest were robbed of everything they needed continually. Fuck that world!

There's a shake up going on now, as we transition to the new infrastructure of production. The old institutions and collective mechanisms are deprecated, degraded, and dying, while new freedoms, prosperity, and security are developing and coming on line, becoming available to us to employ as we see fit, at our sole option, benefiting not only we that have the merit to employ them, but our families, our communities and our world we make more secure, more prosperous, and more free.

I wish you could see the world I see coming. I wish I wasn't so old and decrepit, so I could see more of it, make more of it than I will be able to. I wish this shit had happened 50 years ago so I could have raised my kids with these new abilities and taught them how to prosper by their own hands better than I did.

I think we need to be smart while things are changing over, but them that seize the means of production suitable to their personal circumstances will be grateful they did when their independence bears the sweet fruit of prosperity and liberty going forward.

Thanks!
