RE: Absolute Evil is Attacking Humanity Today, and What you can do about it.

Institutional hierarchies are the ideal mechanisms for psychopaths to attain to the power they desire. Because such persons have no conscience, they are able to commit atrocities normally socially competent people cannot, and by this means are able to attain to power over ordinary people, even if those people are highly intelligent and competent, because such atrocities can simply destroy them, any rational narrative, or policies.

As a result of such hierarchies being operant for centuries today, they have become extraordinarily pathological. It is difficult to see how they could be restored to benign purpose, to beneficent action on populations, when every rung in the hierarchies has been seized by actions of the corrupt, are locked into place with blackmail, bribes, and by bamboozling their victims, baffling with bullshit all that cannot be convinced of the brilliance and benevolence of the madmen in positions of power.

For these reasons I believe that Sir John Glubb's observation that empires have a lifespan of but a couple centuries and a half makes sense. It seems the appropriate time to break out the pitchforks and torches necessary at such interval to restore beneficent function to our heretofore requisite institutions.

Personally, I'd prefer if we just tore them apart and left them lying there, unrepaired, and unrestored to operation, and instead we adopt the newly advented means of production that enable wealth and the blessings of civilization to be made by individuals and small communities that no longer require vast pools of capital to produce the goods and services requisite to civil society.

I am unaware of any potential of such to lend to psychopaths any power, to betray themselves for money, or be blackmailed, or any such vector of corruption from their beneficial purpose.
