Happy 4th of July!
While Independence Day is the celebration of the successful revolution of the American colonies from England, and the eventual adoption of the Constitution in 1787, today the original freedom we won then is somewhat diminished, while our prosperity has increased greatly. No matter your politics, Americans today can all find issues that are less than optimal. I assure you that things could be a lot worse, as I have experienced far worse conditions. What we do have is worth celebrating.
So let's rejoice in the freedom we do have, and work to spread and increase freedom and prosperity where we can, because the more good people are more free, the more good company and assistance we will have increasing our own.

I celebrate your commitment and take on this date, because I think you embody the truly American values. I am not talking (just) about those of the so-called founding fathers, but about those developed by the best of the American citizens throughout history. Happy 4th of July!

As usual, I have a crew with jackhammers coming ~noon (late holiday start to the day) to punch through a concrete slab and find a leaky pipe. Should be great fun! Then there will be the fireworks tonight, which I always greatly enjoy. All down the West coast of the country, beaches are the natural places to set off fireworks, because it's very difficult to light seawater afire, so I find a high spot and watch miles of beach with fireworks going off as far as the eye can see. It's pretty awesome.
Edit: Although, it makes me happy I am not a hapless seabird!

Americans have been in the current position by a countless war with Europe, Canada, Mexico, Japan, China, north korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran.
The world's overlords are always afraid and wary of the expansion of the territory and hegemony of the United States.
But East Asian Christians believe that North America has become a Protestant state, so they could be liberated from the cruel domination of Russia, China, Japan, and North Korea!

The freedom and independence that was decreed in the past made a big difference, so we can say Happy 4th of July and a happy future for everyone
I strongly agree. We may not be as aware of how essential to our felicity freedom is today as a whole, but in many ways that is a result of enjoying the very benefits of freedom and the prosperity it has brought. That revolution and Constitution has inspired humanity around the world, and created centuries of greater felicity and higher expectations of people from pole to pole. Many of us remain vigilant to guard our sovereignty from slavers that never have ceased yearning to take it, and I am additionally certain that the very structure of the universe advances technology today across all industries by decentralizing means of production, mandating the increase of freedom and the prosperity it creates be distributed across the population with the merit to create it.
