Cooler Heads Prevail: Possible Cease Fire Between Israel and Iran
I reacted to the news that the US had bombed Iran with the full depth of disappointment of my opposition to US military action in Iran that I have maintained since 1979, when Iran cast off the spook puppet regime of Shah Pahlevi and became vilified in the press. Sabers rattled then, and have been continuously rattling ever since, as psychological manipulation of Americans by spooks unceasingly pushes for war against any nation, people, or polity that dares to refuse to submit to the economic control of international banksters.
James Corbett has provided his well researched considerations that I always find substantive and insightful, and as I am dependent on exactly such research and integrity for my understanding, I share his report on these events here.
In it he notes the disingenuous duplicity that has not changed in content, has not added one iota of evidence, and has continually beat the drums of war against Iran since 1992, striving to wreak profitable destruction of Iranian and American lives, that has been the defining message of the wannabe warlord Mileikowski/Satanyahu. The fruits of that slavering for war are revealed on the shattered plains of Gaza, and the expansion of that inhumane suffering and slaughter to Iran and America the purpose of Israel and it's supporters. The destruction wrought in Gaza and it's expansion across the world is the purpose for which international banksters created Israel, and despite the adamant opposition of good people to that destruction, it has befallen Gaza and continually threatens all humanity today.
Iran has resisted that destruction with force of arms and returned to Israel a significant measure of the catastrophic violence it has suffered, while imperial forces have been poised in the background to devastate the world should Israel prevail and spark a conflagration they would fuel. Iran has refused to knuckle under, has stood fast against the genocidal hunger of international banksters, demonstrated the capacity to return the destruction inflicted on it, and dragged the world back from the brink of global war.
The claimed cease fire gives me hope that genocidal clamor for war is set back, but I know the threat of Gazafication will remain as long as groveling toadies perform the bidding of international banksters, as long as spooks spew deceptive disinformation, and blackmail, bribery, and bullshit corrupt polities betraying humanity. Only force of arms has staved off World War III. Every political institution humanity has undertaken to enable just government has failed. The power to return to bullies the bloody wounds they inflict is the only thing that has prevented the loosing of the dogs of war on all of us today.
I often discuss the advance of technology, how decentralization of the means of production is presently enabling individuals to adopt table top manufacturing of modern goods and services. The most advanced technology is the most productive technology, which is why technology advances, and this means that modern tools to provide our own security are better than they have ever been. Once force of arms meant precisely that: the strength of the muscles in our limbs was what enabled us to beat our enemies senseless. We have progressed technologically from our fists, to pointy sticks and fire, to slugs of metal propelled by chemical explosions and bombs, to the present day in which far more devastating power is able to be brought to bear on our enemies than rocks flung by monkeys. In no field of industry has technology more advanced than in defense, and the decentralization and availability of table top manufacturing has more empowered individuals to enforce their liberty and prosperity today than ever before.
Evil ever slavers for the blood of innocents, yearns implacably for our lives and treasure. Only the strength to destroy them that would devour us keeps the fiends at bay. That is the primary lesson I take from this fortnight of war Israel has inflicted on Iran. I urge thoughtful men of principle, free people of every color and creed, every faith and philosophy, to carefully consider their security and to take every possible modern means of defending themselves potential to their individual circumstances. Being free requires being dangerous, while being defenseless is begging to be slaughtered.
Being free is not a crime. Being dangerous is the requirement to be free. It is not being dangerous that is criminal, but doing harm, and criminals harm the defenseless without ceasing. If you trust criminals to defend you, you are already enslaved. Free men make their freedom, always have, and always will. Modern technological advance has multiplied means of self defense far beyond beating on our enemies with our fists, and the manipulation of our minds seeks to render us compliant to our would be masters. Them that will grovel to masters will be led to the slaughter, because they will be weapons in the field against them that will not yield. It is better to defend ourselves than to be enslaved to wannabe warlords, so that at least we can die defending peace, rather than die as a weapon of war against free people.
If you cannot bear arms, you can bear alms. If you cannot fight for freedom, you can feed them that do. Humanity cannot survive as hermits alone in the wilderness, so we must be communities of free people, and this requires all the mutual support civil society depends on. You are the field of battle. This is the lesson of war propaganda, that Satanyahu has been teaching humanity for three decades and three years now. This is why he has repeated the lies over and over, for all these years, striving to turn whomever he can deceive into a weapon to destroy civilization. If you aren't defending freedom, you are enslaving the free.

I believe that Yahweh in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible is the same God. I believe that those who believe in God are blessed, and those who do not believe in God are cursed!
If China is cut off from Iran's oil, they will go to war for it. That is how Japan was manouvered into attacking the USA, by cutting off their access to petroleum.
In the Old Testament, a variety of gods are mentioned, YHWH, El (and there are more than one, because Elohim is plural), Adonai, and etc. There are other writings and archaeological evidence regarding the variety of faiths and religions of the Habiru (the Hebrews). There is much information regarding times prior to the advent of the Christ that markedly changes and mitigates information provided in texts today considered holy, sacred, even to be direct communication from the Creator to adherents, despite having been written millennia ago by men for a variety of political purposes, and myriad religious faiths. Much of the Old Testament isn't original to that compilation, but is derived from earlier cultures. There is far more information, both harshly suppressed and completely forgotten, or concealed, about much else, including human sacrifice practiced by some of these cults, and vestiges of these practices surviving today, both publicly acknowledged and covertly.
Because of your faith in a particular interpretation of biblical scripture, discussing a variety of matters with you is certain to transgress matters you consider to be sacred, and it is not my wish to challenge your faith, or force you to brand me a heretic. I only wish to to increase your felicity by giving you reason to increase your confidence in the sovereignty you possess as your natural birthright.

Edit: none of these Old Testament gods is anything to do with the polity Israel today. The founders of the State of Israel were all of European origin, not descendants of Jacob/Israel. The Prime Minister of Israel today is called Benjamin Netanyahu, but that surname was created by his father, whose surname he was born with was Mileikowski. Every Israeli Prime Minister since it's creation similarly went by a different name than their family bore. Most of the Israeli population calling themselves Jews are actually Polish, Ukrainian, or Russian ethnically.
None of them have any ancestors from the Levant AFAIK, nor have any congenital inheritance from Jacob. Your question regarding YHWH implies they do. They don't. The genocidal crimes against humanity that are the direct result of the lies and machinations of the polity of Israel and it's agents, and particularly this Mileikowski/Netanyahu, are the absolute antithesis of the teachings of Jesus, whom you call the Christ, in the New Testament. Instead of feeding the hungry, innocent children are starved by Israel. They are assassinated, double tapped even, by IDF soldiers, bombed in their tents after their homes were destroyed. Jesus would not genocide children to steal their inheritance, and I do not think simply lying about their ethnicity and stealing biblical names makes Israelis righteous.

I remember that the Jewish Old Testament was divided into several editions over a long period of editing and translation.
There is a theory that the editing of the Bible may have been completed during the time of Hezekiah.

I believe that the Jewish Old Testament is of great value in revealing the conflict, tension, and harmony between polytheism and monotheism!
As I read the Old Testament, I get many hints as to why I became a Christian even though my ancestors were polytheists.
As you claim, it is possible that the Jewish Old Testament was edited for the interests and purposes of the great monarchs. However, as I read the Old Testament, I came to understand why only Jews in a polytheistic world came to believe in monotheism!
In ancient polytheism, humans sought out gods, but in Judaism, Yahweh came to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses.

This question is full of assumptions that weight it with bias. As an American, I am familiar with present limitations on the freedom of Americans because of military dominance. There are a lot of places in the world I cannot go, in fact anywhere outside the US is out of my reach because I will not create social media accounts that I can share my password to so that spooky stalkers can see whether my statements conform to the official propaganda, which is today a requirement to travel safely outside the US - if you want to return home afterwards.
I am neither in favor of this prescription to positively state agreement with being ruled by genocidal psychopaths, nor willing to lie to pretend that I am. In fact, I do not use KYC social media platforms, not because of the prescriptions that Americans bleat approval of being chattel, but because of the proscriptions against stating objections to censorship, and the myriad abuses and crimes chattel suffer as a result of unlawful authority claimed by pretentious wannabe masters and the injustices afflicted on sovereign, free people as a result. I think that is the lesson the Houthis teach. Decentralization outcompetes mass production, and many small drones of sticks and string can destroy a ~$T carrier. A new era has begun, and humanity transitions from centralization to decentralization, which will transfer the wealth of the world to them that make it from parasites that only take it.
