Recommendation MASHLE: Not even the most powerful magic can defeat Mash's muscles.[Eng/Esp]

I hope you are all doing well. Today I bring you a recommendation for an anime that I saw recently and was so good that I finished it in no time. This anime is like putting the Harry Potter saga and the anime One Punch-Man in a blender and coming out with: MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES.
Mashle is an anime that combines fantasy, action, drama, and hilarious comedy with a stoic and anti-parabolic protagonist who defies the logic of the rules and convictions that govern his world. The story takes place in a world dominated by magic, with magical creatures of all kinds and a society composed exclusively of magicians. The story tells us about the life of Mash Burnedead, a young man who lives with his father deep in the forest, isolated from the magical kingdom and the rest of civilization. Mash's father, Regro, has forced Mash to exercise and train his muscles since he was a child, and he does not allow him to interact with others or leave the forest as a protective measure for his son. It turns out that in this world, all people are born with a mark on their face that identifies them as magicians.
But Mash has no mark, which means he is a human without magic, and this world is one that “perpetuates being born with magic.” Anyone who does not possess it is hunted down and subsequently killed, which implicitly means that people without magic are exterminated. But Mash is a carefree glutton and goes to town for bread rolls. Soon the police are alerted and chase Mash to his house and torture his father, so Mash goes to his rescue.
Mash has a confrontation with Brad Coleman, an officer with great magical power, who, despite throwing his strongest spells at Mash, deflects them with his bare fists. Unable to defeat Mash, Brad makes a deal with him, whereby Mash must attend a magic school and become a “divine enlightened one,” the strongest wizard of his generation, and in exchange, Brad will not pursue him and Brad will gain “status” by being close to Mash.
He accepts, because all he wants is to live a peaceful life with his dad. This is an anime that I loved from the very first moment. The battles between magic and bare fists are incredible and visually striking; there is a lot of comedy involved due to Mash's hilarious personality.
Mash is a protagonist with an unusual attitude in anime; he is stoic, imperturbable, and serene. He sees no need to use magic for everything, so the problems that characters usually solve with magic, he solves with his hands. His strength and endurance are not only superhuman, but seem otherworldly, so he confidently makes statements such as, “I'll beat you to a pulp with my bare fists” (he says this to the director of his academy, ha ha ha). But his strength is so great that sometimes he can't control it and ends up destroying things, such as doors. He never knows whether to “push or pull” them.
His passion is cream buns, and although he is not very intelligent, when it comes to buns, he becomes very intellectual. While others train with wands and grimoires, he exercises, which is why he has incredible muscles, which he nicknamed “Kevin and Mike.” It's very funny how he spends magic classes using his impressive physical abilities and infuriates teachers and students by not using magic, while skirting the “gray areas” of the rules and competitions. He literally crossed a maze by walking straight ahead and making holes in everything that got in his way, ha ha ha.
He was abandoned as a child on a rooftop until Regro found him and assumed he was abandoned because he had no mark, although his true origin, as well as the reason for his incredible strength that even repels magic, remains a mystery.
During his time at the academy, he will make good friends and powerful enemies, trying to survive in an elitist society based on “how much magical power you have,” while attracting the attention of undesirable people and secret organizations, and perhaps discovering his true origins, however dark they may be.
Mash has only one goal: to graduate as the best wizard, to live a pleasant life alongside his father, and to eat bread rolls. Despite not having a shred of magic, he says he will achieve it on his own: “with his bare fists.”

Espero que se encuentren bien. Hoy les traigo por recomendación un anime que vi recientemente y estaba tan bueno que me lo terminé en un santiamén. Este anime es como si metieras las sagas de Harry Potter y el anime One Punch-Man en una licuadora y saliera MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES.
Mashle es un anime que combina fantasía, acción, drama y comedia hilarante con un protagonista estoico y antiparabólico que desafía la lógica de las reglas y convicciones que rigen su mundo. La historia nos sitúa en un mundo dominado por la magia, con criaturas mágicas de todo tipo y con una sociedad compuesta exclusivamente por magos. La historia nos cuenta la vida de Mash Burnedead un joven que vive con su padre en lo profundo del bosque, apartados del reino mágico y el resto de la civilización. El padre de Mash, Regro ha obligado desde pequeño a Mash a hacer ejercicio y entrenar sus músculos, además de que no le permite interactuar con otros, ni salir del bosque como medida de protección para su hijo. Y es que resulta que en este mundo todas las personas nacen con una marca en la cara que los identifica como magos.
Pero Mash no tiene ninguna marca, por lo que es un humano sin magia, y es este mundo para “perpetuar el nacer con magia”. Todo quien no la posea es cazado y posteriormente asesinado, es decir, dice implícitamente que hay exterminios de gente sin magia. Pero Mash es un tragón despreocupado de primera y va al pueblo por panecillos. Pronto la policía es alertada y persiguen a Mash a su casa y torturan a su padre, por lo que Mash va a su rescate.
Mash tiene un enfrentamiento con Brad Coleman un oficial con un gran poder mágico, quien a pesar de tirarle sus hechizos más fuertes a Mash, los desvía a puño limpio. Incapaz de derrotar a Mash, Brad hace un trato con él, donde Mash debería ir a una escuela mágica y ser un “iluminado divino”, el mago más fuerte de su generación, y, a cambio, Brad no le perseguiría y Brad tendría “estatus” al ser cercano a Mash.
Él acepta, porque lo único que quiero es vivir una vida tranquila con su papá. Este es un anime que me encantó desde el momento uno. Las batallas de: magia vs a puño limpio, son increíbles y visualmente llamativas; tiene mucha comedia de por medio debido a la hilarante personalidad de Mash.
Mash es un protagonista con una actitud poco común en el anime, es estoico, imperturbable y sereno. Ve innecesario usar magia para todo, por lo que los problemas que los personajes suelen arreglar con magia, él los resuelve con las manos. Su fuerza y resistencia no solo es sobrehumana, sino que parece de otro mundo, por lo que con toda confianza hace declaraciones como: "Te haré papilla a puño limpio" (esto se lo dice al director de su academia, ja, ja, ja). Pero su fuerza es tanta, que a veces no la controla y termina destrozando cosas, como las puertas,. Las cuales nunca sabe si “tirar o jalar”.
Su pasión son los panecillos de crema y aunque no es muy inteligente, si se trata de panecillos se pone todo intelectual. Mientras otros entrenan con varitas y grimorios, él hace ejercicio, por lo que tiene unos músculos increíbles, a los que apodó “Kevin y Mike”. Es muy gracioso como pasa las clases de magia usando sus impresionantes habilidades físicas y saca de quicio a profesores y alumnos por no usar magia, mientras ronda las áreas “grises” de las reglas y competencias, literalmente cruzo un laberinto caminando derecho y haciendo huecos en todo lo que se le atravesara, ja, ja, ja.
Fue abandonado de niño en una azotea, hasta que Regro lo encontró y asumió que fue abandonado debido a no poseer marca, aunque su verdadero origen, así como la razón de su increíble fuerza que incluso repele la magia, se mantiene como un misterio.
En su paso por la academia hará buenos amigos y fuertes enemigos, trata de sobrevivir en una sociedad elitista, basada en “cuanto poder mágico tienes”, mientras va llamando la atención de gente indeseada, organizaciones secretas y tal vez descubra su verdadero origen: por oscuro que este que pueda ser.
Mash solo tiene un objetivo: graduarse como el mejor mago, para vivir una afable vida al lado de su padre y comiendo panecillos. A pesar de no tener ni una pizca de magia, él dice que lo logrará solo: “a puño limpio”

De los animes más entretenidos y fascinantes que he visto en estos últimos año, la verdad. Me gusta mucho cómo el protagonista desafía toda lógica y sentido dentro de este mundo mágico para siempre salirse con la suya, pero a diferencia de la mayoría de protagonistas que hacen esto gracias a la ayuda del guión, Mash lo hace con estilo y con una forma que es difícil no quedarse impresionado por ello. Claro, hay momentos en los que lo absurdo se sale de control, pero en los PEAKs es una locura lo que logra este anime.

Ujum, yo opino que esa es la idea de la historia en sí, Mash es simplemente un personaje que va contra lo ya establecido en el mundo de Mashle, por eso creo que es una de las razones por las que es el más fuerte.
Pues sí, el guión siempre estará de su lado debido a la misma trama de la serie.
Yes, of course I've seen it! I loved it so much, I couldn't stop watching. The comparison you make with Harry Potter and One-Punch Man is perfect; it's exactly that. Mash is such a hilarious yet cool character; her logic is so simple and direct that it clashes with the entire wizarding world in a brilliant way. And the fights, as you say, are visually incredible.
Thank you! That's what I like about Mash. Even though it may not seem like it, he simply applies logic to things. In this world, people use magic for everything, but Mash only uses his brain and his hands because many things can be done without magic.
La primera vez que lo vi pensé que era una secuela de Harry Potter animada sin embargo me di de cuenta que tiene su propio encanto y es excelente anime muy entretenido
