Let me introduce you to my beautiful Rottweiler, Zeus. [Eng/Esp]

Hello to everyone who loves animals or their pets!

I usually post other types of content, but when I saw that there was a pet community on Hive, I thought I'd introduce my dog. His name is Zeus, but I usually call him by nicknames like Burnt Biscuit, Danger on the Block, John Wick (if he were a dog), Reason Why No One Wants to Come to My House, Bollito, Nightmare, Scare-All, and finally, Giant Meatball.

But according to his birth certificate, his name is Zeus, although I wanted a more terrifying name, but they wouldn't let me (my loss, but Zeus isn't bad). He is currently a year and a few months old and is like a cute little bear when I hug him.

Despite his appearance and great strength, he's a sweetheart of a dog. He's always looking for affection and attention, and when he comes up to me, he does so with his head down, waiting for me to give him love or, failing that, my food.

He is a dog full of life and love to give, who always makes me and my family laugh with what he does. Of course, a dog like him requires care and precautions, but that's why we always make sure to give him the best and train him so he doesn't destroy anything. He is very sleepy and lies down anywhere in the house to sleep, and his snoring is very loud. It's funny when it's obvious that he's chasing something in his dreams because of the gestures he makes. He follows us even to the bathroom, and when we get home, he always wags his tail and runs towards us to give us a hug, after sniffing us and seeing that we're all there.

Although Zeus is a strong dog, one of those who likes to play “rough,” he tries to be gentle with me, who was raised by a girl in her twenties. When he's not playing with me, my mom, or my brother, he's very calm because most of the time he spends lying somewhere in the house or lying with me watching TV or just sleeping. Even so, he is still a very territorial and protective dog, so in the afternoons when there is more noise in the streets or at night, he stays very graciously guarding the door or the gate to protect the house.

That reminds me of a time when a “stowaway” got into the house. It was a poor, very large iguana, I must say. I didn't see it, but Zeus did, and he chased it all over the house with me running behind him. Luckily, my brother arrived and the iguana was able to keep its integrity.

When he lies down in that position, it reminds me of “My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the northern armies, general of the Phoenix Legions, loyal servant of the one emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father of a murdered son, husband of a murdered wife, and I swear I will have my revenge, in this life or the next.”jajaja

Zeus isn't my only pet. I have three tortoises and a water turtle, which Zeus enjoys bullying. He likes to flip them over and leave them on their shells, but the water turtle is very fierce, and when Zeus tries to get in her space, she fights back. It's like a battle to see who is more dominant, but the turtle wins. because she is older and somewhat terrifying, or so my friends said. I see her as a warrior, although somewhat Machiavellian.

Zeus is still very friendly, so once a friend whom Zeus loves very much came over, but Zeus didn't know that this friend had an identical twin. In short, Zeus went to hug him, but when he smelled him, he realized that he wasn't the “original.” Then he saw the two of them together, so that day I had a very confused dog who kept tilting his head (he does this when he doesn't understand something) and that's how he spent the whole time, ha ha ha.

My family and I love Zeus very much, and in my mom's case, she has the most experience with large dogs, as my grandmother used to have many large dogs such as Rottweilers and German Shepherds at her home in Caracas, so she has experience with dogs of this type. Despite looking big and strong, he is a good dog who loves us and listens to us, who always seeks our love and who gets depressed and hides under the table if we have punished him. The good thing is that he learns quickly. And he fills me and my family with joy.

Something I love is that when I'm sitting at the computer, like now while I was writing this post, he has a habit of lying down at my feet, asking for pets, and when I give them to him, he falls asleep on my feet. I love him so much!

¡Hola a todos quienes adoren a los animales o a sus mascotas!

Usualmente, suelo subir otro tipo de contenido, pero cuando vi que había una comunidad de mascotas en Hive se me ocurrió presentar a mi perrito. Se llama Zeus, pero usualmente lo suelo llamar por apodos como Biscocho quemado, el peligro de la cuadra, John Wick, si este fuera perro, motivo del porqué nadie quiere ir a mi casa, Bollito, terror nocturno, espanta-todo y, por último, Albóndiga gigante.

Pero según su certificado de nacimiento, su nombre es Zeus, aunque yo quería un nombre más terrorífico, pero no me dejaron (mal por mí, pero Zeus no está mal), actualmente tiene un año y unos meses y es como un lindo osito cuando lo abrazo.

A pesar de su apariencia y gran fuerza, es un amor de perro. Siempre busca cariño y atención y, cuando se acerca a mí, lo hace con la cabeza agachada, esperando a que le dé amor o, en su defecto, mi comida.

Cuando era un cachorro.

Es un perro lleno de vida y amor para dar, que siempre nos hace reír a mí y a mi familia con lo que hace. Claro que un perro como él, lleva sus cuidados y precauciones, pero por eso siempre nos aseguramos de darle lo mejor y educarlo para que no destroce nada. Es muy dormilón y se echa en cualquier lado de la casa a dormir y sus ronquidos son muy fuertes, es gracioso cuando es obvio que en sueños persigue algo por los gestos que hace. Nos persigue hasta para ir al baño y cuando llegamos a casa siempre menea su cola y corre hacia nosotros para darnos un abrazo, eso lo hace despues de olernos y ver que llegamos completos.

Aunque Zeus sea un perro fuerte, de los que le gusta jugar “brusco” trata de ser delicado conmigo, quien lo manda a ser criado por una chica en sus veinte. Si no está jugando conmigo, mi mama o mi hermano está muy tranquilo debido a que la mayoría del tiempo se la pasa echado en algún lado de la casa o acostado conmigo viendo televisión o simplemente está durmiendo. Aun asi sigue siendo un perro muy territorial y protector por lo que en las tardes cuando hay más ruido en las calles o en la noche se queda muy graciosamente haciendo guardia en la puerta o en el portón, para proteger la casa.

Eso me hace acordar una vez, cuando un “polisón” se metió en la casa, era una pobre iguana muy grande debo decir, yo no la vi, pero Zeus sí y la persiguió por toda la casa conmigo corriendo detrás de él, por suerte llego mi hermano y la iguana pudo mantener su integridad.

Cuando se tumba en esa postura, me recuerda a «Mi nombre es Maximus Decimus Meridius, comandante de los ejércitos del norte, general de las Legiones Fénix, leal servidor del único emperador, Marco Aurelio. Padre de un hijo asesinado, esposo de una esposa asesinada, y juro que me vengaré, en esta vida o en la próxima».jajaja

Zeus no es mi única mascota, pues, tengo tres morrocoyas y una tortuga de agua, a las que Zeus disfruta haciendo bullying, pues le gusta voltearlas y dejarlas sobre sus caparazones, pero la de agua es muy brava y cuando Zeus trata de meterse en su sitio ella responde, es como una lucha de quien es más dominante, pero gana la tortuga, pues es más vieja y es algo terrorífica o eso dijeron mis amigas, yo la veo toda guerrera, aunque algo maquiavélica.

Zeus no deja de ser muy amistoso, por lo que hubo una vez que vino un amigo al que Zeus quiere mucho, pero Zeus no sabía que ese amigo tenía un gemelo idéntico, en conclusión, Zeus fue a abrazarlo, pero cuando lo olió se dio cuenta de que no era el “original”, después los vio a los dos juntos, por lo que ese día tuve un perro muy confundido que no dejaba de inclinar la cabeza (esto lo hace cuando no entiende algo) y así se la paso todo el rato ja, ja, ja.

Literalmente puso esta cara.

Mi familia y yo amamos mucho a Zeus y, en el caso de mi mamá, ella es la que tiene más experiencia con perros grandes, pues mi abuela solía tener en su casa en Caracas muchos perros grandes como Rottweilers y pastores alemanes, por lo que tiene experiencia con perros de su tipo. A pesar de verse grande y fuerte, es un buen perro que nos ama y hace caso, que siempre busca nuestro amor y que se deprime y esconde debajo de la mesa si lo hemos castigado. Lo bueno es que aprende rápido. Y nos llena de alegría a mí y a mi familia.

¡Algo que me encanta es que cuando estoy sentada en la computadora, como ahora mientras hacía el post, tiene la costumbre de ponerse en mis pies, pidiendo caricias y cuando se las doy, se echa a dormir sobre mis pies, lo amo tanto!!
