🎄Christmas shopping at the Sambil shopping centre🛍️. [Eng/Esp]

Hello, lovely Hive Margarita community!

I hope you are all well. Today I want to tell you about my trip to El Sambil shopping centre on Margarita Island. This is the most visited shopping centre on the island, along with La Vela, and is the ideal place to do some shopping or just stroll around and enjoy a pleasant time eating or soaking up the atmosphere, especially during the festive season.

I went with the idea of doing some Christmas shopping and buying clothes, specifically footwear. At El Sambil, there are lots of shoe shops with a wide range of styles and sizes. In general, they sell all kinds of footwear: sandals, shoes, boots and heels from many different brands.

On that particular day, I didn't find anything I liked enough (it didn't match what I was planning to wear for Christmas) and the styles I liked weren't in my size; they were either too tight or too big, so in the end I didn't buy any shoes, which was the main reason I went there. Despite this, the trip was not in vain.

And although I literally searched every shop, I didn't find anything. So I went to visit other types of shops to see what I could buy. In addition to looking for something to buy, I began to appreciate the Christmas decorations at Sambil. At this time of year, they decorate Sambil very nicely, in shades of red, gold and green, putting up Christmas trees, garlands, lights and decorating the ceiling, so it's very nice to walk around Sambil with these views.

After spending some time in the shops and taking photos of the Christmas decorations, we decided to go and eat something sweet and cold. So we stopped at the McDonald's ice cream stand and I went for the sweetest option, which is the McFlurry, which is vanilla ice cream with Oreos and chocolate syrup. I asked for extra chocolate because I love chocolate and eating very sweet desserts in general.

After buying it, we went to sit down at the fair, which is where the food stalls, seats and tables are, to eat our ice cream. I loved it, the ice cream was very delicious. Although it took me a while to finish it because I hadn't eaten much before. After resting for a while, we continued looking at the shops.

I spent a long time at Sambil, going into shops and looking at what they had for sale, so much so that when I arrived it was daytime and when I left it was nighttime. But that's because time flies in places like that.

When a friend and her dad kindly dropped me off at my house, it was almost 7 p.m. But it was a very enjoyable day, especially in such a beautiful place as Sambil.

Espero que se encuentren bien. Hoy les vengo a hablar de mi salida al centro comercial El Sambil de la isla de Margarita. Este es el centro comercial de la isla más visitado junto con La Vela, siendo el lugar ideal para realizar diversas compras o para pasear y pasar un rato agradable comiendo o disfrutando del ambiente, sobre todo en estas fechas festivas.

Yo fui con la idea de realizar unas compras por Navidad y comprar ropa, específicamente calzado. En El Sambil hay un montón de tiendas de zapatos, con múltiples modelos y tallas. En general, todo tipo de calzado: sandalias, zapatos, botas o tacones de múltiples marcas.

En particular, ese día no encontré nada que me gustara lo suficiente (no combinaba con lo que pensaba usar en Navidad) y los modelos que me gustaron no estaban en mi talla, me quedaban muy apretados o muy grandes, por lo que al final no me llevé zapatos, que fue la principal razón por la que fui. A pesar de esto, el viaje no fue en vano.

Y aunque literalmente se busco en todas la tiendas no encontré nada. Por lo que me dirigí a visitar otro tipo de tiendas y ver qué compraba. Además de buscar que comprar me puse a apreciar la decoración navideña del Sambil y es que en estas fechas decoran el Sambil muy bonito, en tonos rojos, dorados y verdes, colocando árboles de navidad, guirnaldas, luces y decorando el techo, así que es muy bonito recorrer el Sambil con estas vistas.

Después de un rato en las tiendas y tomando fotos de la decoración navideña, se decidió ir a comer algo dulce y frío. Por lo que paramos en el puesto de helados de Mcdonald’s y me fui por la opción más dulce, que es el mcflurry, que es un helado de vainilla con oreo y sirope de chocolate, el cual pedí que le echaran extra chocolate, porque adoro el chocolate y en general comer postres muy dulces.

Después de comprar fuimos a sentarnos en la feria, que es el sitio en donde están los puestos de comida, asientos y mesas a comernos el helado. Yo lo adore, el helado fue muy delicioso. Aunque dure un rato en terminarlo porque no hace mucho había comido. Después de reposar un buen rato el helado, continuamos viendo las tiendas.

Estuve un rato muy largo en el Sambil, entrando en las tiendas y viendo qué vendían, tanto que cuando llegué era de día y cuando me fui ya era de noche. Pero es porque a uno se le va el tiempo en ese tipo de sitios.

Cuando me hizo el favor una amiga y su papá de dejarme en mi casa, eran casi las 7 de la noche. Pero fue un día muy divertido, sobre todo en un lugar tan bonito como el Sambil.
