Let us compare holiness and unholiness.
The society holds with respect those who have decent lifestyle. Those who are of honest reputation are those who are recommended. No one wants to employ someone who is of questionable character to manage his or her business. Someone whose reputation is not good is not usually considered for a position of responsibility. What about marital issues? Those who want to marry do not go after someone who does not have adequate moral discipline. In fact, that is when they will hunt for someone with good home training. In essence, holiness is acceptable and recommended.

On the contrary, unrighteousness is ugly and unaccepted. Harlots have no respect in the society. Thieves are treated with disgrace and can even surface being killed sometimes. A fraudulent staff or manager is usually sacked when his or her misdeeds are uncovered. A troublesome student is the one who suffers more from the tutors cane. Corrupt leaders usually lose their respect in front of their subjects. So, there is nothing that is unholy which has a good remark. A stubborn child risk being cursed by the parents. Bad things are not celebrate. There is no beauty in unrighteousness. Whatever is evil is unwanted. So, it is clearly seen that holiness is beautiful.

To have a good life, follow the commandments of God. The commandments of God are the roots of everything beautiful and comely. When we follow the commandments of God, we will have decent life. Our reputation will be recommended when we allow the word of God to be our guide through life. We should read and study the Bible daily. We should not just be readers and hearers only, we must be doers of the word.
