Staying Close To God. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

Relationship with God must be intentional. We must determine and fight it out with all our energy to keep an unbroken relationship with God. We should understand that God is a spirit. Also we should bear it in mind that God is a righteous God. There is no unholiness in Him. So trying to keep God with us always, we must relate with him in the spirit and we must be holy.

God is a spirit. We do not see Him in flesh like we see others. We can only relate with Him spiritually. So, we must remember that Jesus Christ said that the words that he spoke to us are spirit. So, to relate with God as a spirit, we must relate with His word. We must keep His Word in our hearts. We must meditate on this Word day and night.

Also, God is holy. So, we must relate with Him with clean hands and minds. We must avoid everything that reflect sin. Just as the Bible says, we should run away from every appearances of evil. When we consciously do those things that keep God with us, there is no way we will feel that God is far from us.
