What God prepares for us is a prudent partner. God does not prepare a partner who is not prudent. What is meant by God for in our marital life is a prudent partner. To a man God wants him to marry a prudent wife. To a woman, God wants him to marry a prudent husband. There is no other way or desire which God has for us. He wants us to have prudent partners.

God's plan for marriage is that the man and the woman should live together in harmony and unity and do the will of God. The purpose of God is what makes him institute marriage. God desires that as couples, we should love and honor each other. The wife should be submissive to the husband. The husband must love His wife as Christ loved the church.

To know and be sure that your partner is meant for you, you will have the peace and support to do the will of God. Your partner will help you in doing the will of God if he or she is who God has ordained for you.
