Year 2023 was a big year full of unique challenges and successes. For me, it was kind of a sinusoidal curve. Thanks to the long Christmas and New Year holidays that gave me enough time to unwind and refresh. I deliberately made it long to give me time to reflect on the strategies of last year's win as I draw a road map for 2024.

Year 2024 is a year I intentionally push for a balance for my career and financial aspirations, personal growth targets, and relationships. These are elements that form the crux of a fulfilling life. Do you mind sharing in my 2024? Let's delve into strategic planning for a successful and well-rounded 2024.

Tech Career Growth

My foray into the world of tech started in 2012. It got enhanced in 2018 when I joined a web3 ecosystem. The year 2023 became a very decisive year when it came to my tech career development. I had definitive moments that helped me streamline how the engagements would be, going forward.

The year 2023 presented me with the opportunity to find a missing link between my engagement of the web2 and web3 worlds. This paved the way for the need to acquire new tech skills, define new communities of engagement, and new personal project ideation and iteration. I also found the need for strategic career planning, mentorship, and certifications. Embracing the year 2024 with the above in mind gives me a springboard to design a robust career path in tech with sustainability and problem-solving as key drivers.

Financial Goals

A peek into the year 2024 reveals great financial prospects and wealth. This could be linked to the alleged bull season proposed for the crypto markets. However, being a part-taker is not automatic, and hence the need to define the components that will contribute to achieving my financial aspirations.

Being a part of a growing and uncertain economy has taught me the need for skilled budgeting. In achieving this, I'll prioritize essential expenses, allocating funds for savings and investments, and leaving room for discretionary spending. I'll be intentional about growing my income while reducing unnecessary expenditures.

Exploring diverse investment avenues to spread risk and maximize returns is in the core plan too. I'll be considering a mix of stocks, bonds, real estate, and other assets, tailoring my portfolio to your risk tolerance and long-term objectives. I'll also be strengthening my emergency funds. This is aimed at shielding myself from unforeseen market and economic jerks as we experienced in the past few years.

Personal Growth Goals

Committing to lifelong learning has become a key drive in 2024. This will be achieved by acquiring new skills, enhancing existing ones, attending X space shows, and enrolling in courses, to stay relevant in an ever-evolving world. Thanks to INLEO community that introduced me to learning groups on X Spaces.

A healthy body and mind are the foundation for sustained personal and professional growth. My physical and mental well-being will be a priority. This will be achieved through regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and mindfulness practices in my routine. My daily activities will be streamlined by setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals. No more time wastages.

Relationship Goals

Relationships are core components of every life endeavour. Building and strengthening healthy and mutually benefiting relationships will be a priority. I'll strengthen bonds with family and friends by dedicating quality time to meaningful interactions. I'll cultivate emotional intelligence to better understand and connect with others. I'll be more intentional in training and raising others to know as much as I do as I build a formidable community going forward.

Success in 2024 is inevitable. This will require a delicate balance of financial prudence, personal growth, and nurturing relationships. The cost of which I am ready to pay. By setting clear goals in each of these areas and adopting a proactive approach, you can embark on a journey of holistic success and fulfillment.
