ok, thought you invented this - I did a lot on #SunThursday and #BeachWednesday contests to name the photo stuff only, also got support by @theycallmedan via @guiltyparties and a good guy from the LatAm community I can not remember the name. Only did these as contests but even prizes by upvote from whales and HBD / Hive been good attendance was shrinking and in the end we had cheaters so I stopped that. Early days I brang over also #MonochromeMonday and others - in music I started #DanceWeekend #TechnoFriday #MondayTrance #DiscoTuesday #WednesdayHouse #RapThursday #RckClassics and more (but without contests). I started the @music-community to get people using it but also not working as there we have a majority of non-related sounds.
I miss my photo contests a lot but after I was told my certain "expert whales" I add no value (and never did) to this blockchain I am not pushing this anymore at all.
There are too many here who claim to be experts. You have done some great stuff!
True, I get along with most whales but one mini whale (still too much stake) is most vocal as police lol, you had talks with him recently. He was the reason to power up from zero again to get into flag wars, but makes no sense but when I am called a dead weight I consider things 😁
I try to stay out of Hive politics. I often have to bite my tongue. There will always be people here I don't like, but I try to keep focused on helping the people that are just getting started.
Good approach, usually also mine - my horoscope is libra - it is only happening when i get attacked with nonsense in a particular way - and it is only one person. Libra are calm, we try to be middlemen in any trouble but when a libra has enough then a libra can become furious :-)
@melinda010100 - a question to an ecency expert - I tried again to promote a post, points for two days transfered but how can i see it is really promoted - no button seen, also not in any lists even trying to find with different account. I am confused :-)
Go to ecency.com/promoted and you can see the queue as it rotates through the feed if there have been a lot of promoted posts you may have to refresh a few times to see yours appear.
been there but not seeing a queue just a list of posts without structure even selecting tags :-)
That view of promoted posts is what is available at this time. If you would like something different write it up and put it into 'suggestions' channel in Discord.
Ecency devs have a long to-do list, but they are pretty responsive to new suggestions.
