The image of God. My Review

We are carrying the image of God. We were created in the image of God. We are the offsprings of God. The Lord created us to look like Him. What makes us to look like God is the character of God. God is a spirit. We are not resembling God by our physical appearance. God does not possess a physical body like us. He is a spirit. He does not exist in bodily form. He is the Almighty God. He created everything that exists. He gave to all the creatures their various bodies but he himself is a spirit.

The nature of God is the attributes of God. God is a righteous God. He created us in holiness. We should exhibit righteousness. The problem is when we exhibit unrighteousness. That is not the nature of God. That nature is that of the devil. It is the devil that makes people to be sinful. Those who are not righteous are not reflecting the image of God. The image of God is righteousness.

The Lord our God is Love. He is Love. Those who do not love has not known God. Anyone who is born of God has love. The nature of God is love. We should show love towards others. We do not love because they love us themselves. No, we love because God is love. We are to love others as a proof that we are the children of God.
