Searching For God. My REVIEW

God had designed that we should be His people. As His people, He wanted us to dwell close to him. By this, he was looking for a companion. You would not think that God has need of a companion. He is a all sufficient God. He lacks nothing and He is in need of nothing. But the Father heart of God needed a family. We are the family which God was looking out for.

As we started out with God after the creation, the enemy of God came in to scatter the plan of God. He attempted and successfully turn man against God. From that time, we lost the relationship which we were enjoying with God. We should remember that there were days when God would come and communicate with man in the garden. That was how God wanted to have the relationship with man. But because of Satan and his seed of sin, we lost that fellowship.

Now, we are searching for God. The evidence of the search is everywhere. We are looking for God from all angle. It is the search for God that makes people to run after other gods. The drive for spiritual and supernatural things is from this search for God. But is God far from us? No, God is not far from us. We can see Him if we truly wants to see Him.

Isaiah 55:6-8 (KJV) Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
