Mark 11:25-26 (KJV) And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Forgiveness is the bone of making our christians walk a success. We must always forgive. We must forgive everyone. We must forgive every offense. There is no room for unforgiveness as we live our lives in anticipation of Jesus Christ our Lord. The Lord Jesus Christ told us that He is coming back to take us home with Him. He promised us that where he is there we will also be with him. To access the kingdom of our Lord, our sins must be forgiven. But do you still remember that the Bible says that if we do not forgive others, God will not forgive us. If we are not forgiven, we will not be able to enter into the kingdom of God.
There are offenses in the world. I mean, we have offenses from every side. Everything on earth is capable of causing us offenses. We should have a forgiving heart. We are not going to have a good life if we do not learn to forgive those who offend us. Forgiveness helps us in building a viable relationship. Forgiveness makes our families and community stronger. Forgiveness is what reflects the nature of God in us. Forgiveness makes us have good health. Because when we forgive those who offend us, we are receiving healing in our hearts also. A heart full of offenses is not a healthy life.
Some people could cause us offense every time. They are not friendly in their relationship. We should abide with such people wisely. We should not allow their unruly character to make us sin against God. Let us always forgive others.
