Freewrite Dailyprompt: Always Decisive

I loved her so much. She was the one for me. She was the one my heart beat for.

We were in high school. I will always stay at her. I always think about her, I always wanted to talk to her but I was shy, I could not approach her for reasons unknown to me. Everyday I just kept playing with my head, thinking about the love we would share if we were together.

Days passed by, we graduated from my high school and into college, we see it was so
fortunate that we still met in the same college, the same period and I was just keeping everything to myself in my mind, we were going to college. And it went on for years.

After we graduated, I found out that she was already in a relationship with one of our high school mates then and they were all planning to get engaged. They met during their final year in university and they were about to wed.
I was so pained. After their engagement, so they invited me, so I talked to her, I saw her and I told her that she was my crush right from high school and she felt surprised and she wondered why I didn't tell her those words because she was also interested in me but because I could not approach her, she gave up the interest and at that moment, I knew I had made a big mistake.

Because of my indecision, I could not get what I want. So that taught me to be alway decisive. If I were decisive, I would have gotten what I want and the heartbreak was so tough but I had to learn my lesson, cut my losses and move on.
