Seguridad de las bombonas de gas// Gas Cylinder Safety [ESP-ENG]

Hola amigos, buenas noches a todos. Ha sido realmente un tiempo desde que dejé caer algunos trucos caseros beneficiosos y estrategia de gestión aquí en esta comunidad que ha sido debido a mi apretada agenda, pero hoy tengo algunos gist útil para todos.

Durante el mes pasado, no sólo el mes pasado, pero desde que comenzó este año puede tener conmigo que usted ha estado escuchando de varios brotes de fuego prácticamente cada vez que ya sea en los medios de comunicación social o la mayoría de las veces en nuestros propios barrios. El ritmo al que se producen los incendios es alarmante y todos debemos aprender de los que han ocurrido para no ser víctimas de lo mismo.

Aparte de los incidentes de incendio que ocurren en las gasolineras o estaciones de servicio la mayoría de estos brotes de fuego son de nuestros hogares y no es divertido porque la vida de los niños inocentes y todos a nuestro alrededor están en juego.

Si uno se hace preguntas después de algunos incidentes de incendio, descubrirá que la mayoría de los casos se deben a nuestro descuido, imprudencia y falta de atención adecuada a nuestras bombonas de gas y, a veces, a nuestros aparatos eléctricos.
Habiendo descubierto esto, ya es hora de que asumamos toda la responsabilidad y seamos cuidadosos con nuestras bombonas de gas en casa y eso sucederá si cada uno de nosotros decide cuidar adecuadamente de su hogar individual empezando por mí, el cambio empieza por ti y por mí.

Así que hoy, estaba menos ocupado, mi gas se había acabado así que tuve que limpiarlo antes de llevarlo a rellenar. Voy a ilustraros a todos sobre cómo cuidar correctamente vuestras bombonas de gas.

CÓMO MANEJAR NUESTRAS BOMBONAS DE GAS CON CUIDADO PARA EVITAR CONATOS DE INCENDIO

1. Mantenga las bombonas en un lugar fresco y seco. Puedes guardarlas en el exterior, pero no donde puedan tocarlas el sol o la lluvia. Al igual que la mía, se guarda fuera de la cocina para una ventilación y seguridad adecuadas. Si se guarda en un lugar estrecho o caluroso, la presión del gas aumentará y la bombona se romperá o explotará.

1. Mantenga el gas alejado de fuentes eléctricas. Si se escapa algo de gas de la bombona una pequeña chispa de la fuente eléctrica podría provocar conatos de incendio.

2. Limpie siempre su cilindro para evitar la acumulación de polvo. Algunos de nosotros después de comprar nuestros cilindros permanecerán así durante años y a nadie le importa si está sucio, oxidado o no. No lo lave con esponja y jabón para evitar que se oxide rápidamente, más bien puede optar por utilizar un paño húmedo para limpiarlo y más tarde utilizar un paño seco para limpiarlo totalmente. Eso fue lo que hice hoy, use mi toalla humeda para limpiar mi cilindro y despues use una toalla limpia y seca para secarlo.

1. Evite el uso de cilindros oxidados. Por favor, si su cilindro está oxidado, por favor, cámbielo o rocíe las zonas oxidadas. Estas zonas oxidadas pueden hacer algún pequeño agujero por donde los gases podrían salir y que daría lugar a un brote de fuego, por favor, tengamos todos cuidado.

1. Siempre apague los reguladores de cilindro cuando no esté en uso, esto ayudará a prevenir la fuga de gas y para otros fines de seguridad. Al igual que la mía siempre permanecerá apagada cuando no la esté utilizando.

6.Comprueba siempre que no haya fugas de gas, puede parecer irrelevante pero es muy crucial porque puede que no sepas dónde tiene una avería tu bombona y esa pequeña avería puede dañar mucho.

7.Por último, fíjese siempre en la fecha de caducidad que figura en el cuerpo de las bombonas. Las bombonas caducadas son propensas a sufrir fugas, grietas y explosiones, por lo que debemos estar muy atentos a la fecha de caducidad de nuestras bombonas.

Así que creo que este mensaje es para la seguridad y el bienestar de todos: no sea una víctima y cuide de su bombona doméstica ahora mismo, «una puntada a tiempo salva nueve».

Mucha gente puede no ser consciente de esto, así que les imploro que tengan la amabilidad de transmitir el mensaje y salvar vidas ahora que aún no es demasiado tarde, todas las manos deben estar en cubierta para frenar este alarmante brote de incendios.

Hello friends, good evening to you all. It has really been a while since I dropped some benefitting home tricks and management strategy here in this community that has been due to my busy schedule but today I have some useful gist for everyone.

For the past one month not just the past month but since this year began you can bear with me that you have been hearing of several fire outbreaks virtually every time either on the social media or most at times in our own neighborhoods. The rate at which fire incidents have been occurring is so alarming and we all need to learn from the ones that has happened so that we would not fall victims of the same thing.

Aside the fire incidents that happens at the gas station or fueling stations most of this fire outbreaks are from our homes and it is not funny because the lives of innocent children and everyone around us are at stake.

If you tend to ask questions after some fire incidents you will discover that most cases are due to our carelessness, recklessness and lack of proper care to our gas cylinders and sometimes our electrical appliances.
Having discovered this, it is high time we take full responsibility and be careful with our gas cylinders at home and that will happen if each of us decide to take proper care of our individual homes beginning with me, change starts with you and I.

So today, I was less busy, my gas had finished so I had to clean it up before taking it for refilling. I will enlighten you all on how to take proper care of your gas cylinders.

HOW TO HANDLE OUR GAS CYLINDERS WITH CARE TO AVOID FIRE OUTBREAKS

1. Keep your cylinders in a cool and dry place. You can either keep your cylinders outside but not where sun or rain could touch it. Just like mine, it is kept outside the kitchen for proper ventilation and safety. If it is kept in a tight, or hot places the pressure of the gas will increase causing the cylinder to rupture or explode.

1. Keep the gas away from electrical sources. If some gas leaks out of the cylinder a little spark from the electrical source could cause fire outbreaks.

2. Always clean your cylinder to avoid dust build up. Some of us after buying our cylinders it will remain that way for years and no one cares if its dirty, rusty or not. Do not wash it with sponge and soap to prevent it from rusting fast rather you can choose to use a damp cloth to clean it and later use a dry cloth to clean it up totally. That was what I did today, I used my damp towel to clean my cylinder and thereafter I used a clean and dry towel to dry it up.

1. Avoid using rusted cylinders. Please I implore you all if your cylinder is rusted please change it or you spray the rusted areas. This rusted areas can make some tiny hole where gases could leak out and that would result in fire outbreak, please let’s all be careful.

1. Always off the cylinder regulators when not in use, this will help prevent gas leakage and for other safety purposes. Just like mine it will always remain off when I am not using it.

6.Check for gas leakages always, it might seem irrelevant but it is very crucial because you might not know where your cylinder has a fault and that little fault can damage a whole lot.

7.Finally, always look out for the expiry date on the body of the cylinders. Expired cylinders are prone to leaks, cracks and explosion so we have to be very mindful of the expiry date of our cylinders.

So I believe this message is for the safety and wellbeing of everyone, don’t be the victim take care of your home cylinder now “a stitch in time saves nine”.

So many people might not be aware of this, so I implore that you kindly pass on the message and save lives now that it isn’t too late, all hands must be on deck to curb this alarming fire outbreaks.
