PhotoFeed Contest - Portrait Photography Round 146
Today I took a few simple portrait shots of my daughter while we were waiting at her school. She picked some small flowers and held them softly in her hands, and I wanted to capture that moment. There was nothing planned about it — no special lighting, no setup, and no pose. I just used my phone and tried to catch her natural expressions.

For me, this is what portrait photography really means. It’s not about having perfect equipment or backgrounds. It’s about capturing a person’s mood, innocence, and presence in that exact moment. My daughter looked calm and a little shy, but also curious, and I wanted to keep that memory.

These simple photos remind me that small moments can be beautiful too. Sometimes the best portraits are the ones taken without trying too hard — just pure, honest moments in everyday life.
