Cash Assistance For A Worthy Student

I have lived in this city for decades, but my children and I have never received any cash assistance from their school. We would only witness the graduation ceremonies, where only the honor students received cash incentives.

However, our current Mayor is truly one of a kind. After so many years under the same leadership, we finally have a better one. The De Jesus clan ruled our place for a long time, yet I can’t recall anything they did to improve our community.

Aaron and my son told me they needed to prepare some documents to qualify for the cash assistance. At first, I couldn’t believe it, but of course, I helped my son gather everything he needed. One of the requirements was a letter explaining the student's situation. My son asked me to write it for him, and here’s what I came up with:

Good day, I am Geoff Domingo, a student in the 8th grade section of Yakal. I am studying at Santa Lucia High School, Bulacan. This will be a great opportunity to help me and my family if I were one of the chosen to receive financial school assistance. I will give the money to my mother so that we can buy food for my siblings. I have three siblings who are studying. My sister is the eldest studying in college. She is a scholar and is in her first year. My sister spends a lot of money on her transportation every day but I know that when she finishes her studies, she will help our mother and father to overcome hardship. We often talk about our dreams as siblings. My sister is a 4th grade boy and a kindergarten girl. That's why we feel very happy to be older siblings to them.

We also needed a certification of indigency, our both ID's and contact number. It will message us if my son is qualified for financial assistance.

After a week I was surprised because it messaged us and told my son to come to this date and time. I don't know how to react with the way my son responds with the message. He said he can't come with the time they said because he had a test. But I told him that their teacher already understands that.

This is the reason why my son pursue to become one of the beneficiaries. His phone was ruined again! The day came he was so nervous to go to the place. I let him bring my phone and I used her sisters laptop. At first he told that a parent might need, but her sister told that he can surely handle it.

He updated me every hour

And finally he has the stub that will help him claim the money.

Finally he got the money and went to cellphone repair shop. A total of 2000 pesos or $34.84 was given to each kids. While the replacement of his LCD cost 1300 or $22.65 but it's more enhanced compared to before. No issues was made and my son was satisfied. We are really thankful that the government gave us an opportunity like this.

That's nice that your son is was given a cash assistance in your place because not all of the people has opportunities about getting cash assistance. After your son receive the cash assistance, you used it to repair your son's phone so that it will be useful again. It's a nice initiative for your son.
