Pretender Does The Worst

For as long as I would say that I've grown to a certain stage of understanding some phrases I used tobread in books or hear people use them, this was the first time I thought about this one.

I was having a conversation with one of my neighbors, talking about hypocrisy. Imagine someone condemning you for doing something whether wrong or right. But goes in secret to carry out that same act he or she condemned you for.

We watched a true life story of a pastor, who beats his wife.
The Bible condemns that, as well as the society.
He preaches it each time he remembers.
But then, he's an opposite of what he preaches.

He's calm on pulpit, he would practically curse any man who was reported to fight or beat his wife.

But when the news came out, people were shocked.
I was shocked as well. Not because I do not hear of other pastors beating thier wife, but him . Why him?
After all he says on pulpit?

The report also has it that this was not the first time, neither was it the second nor the third. It had been happening.
The wife never spoke up. But not for the neighbours who were concerned on a particular night while there were arguing, after some violent sounds were heard.
They decided to go check what was going on.

And behold, the man had a special cane in the house for his wife.
And he was using it at the time the neighbors broke into the house.

Now, this is why you shouldn't follow anyone in this world. What you least expect them not to do , they might surprise you. It's okay , that's life.

Just have your integrity and keep it clean.
