The 2025 Supermoon 🌕

Hello, my dearest friends, I hope you're all doing well and welcome to another photoshoot with Uri07✨ In this wonderful opportunity, I want to share a little bit about the supermoon. From what I've read, this moon appears every 200 years, and I had the chance to see it from my porch; I didn't want to miss the opportunity to take some beautiful photos of this stunning and significant event.🥹✨

Hola, mis queridísimos amigos, espero que se encuentren bien y sean todos bienvenidos a otra edición de fotos con Uri07✨ En esta grata oportunidad, quiero presentarles un poco de lo que fue la súper luna. Según lo que leí, esta luna aparece cada 200 años, y tuve la oportunidad de verla desde el porche de mi casa; No quise desaprovechar la ocasión para tomar unas bonitas fotos de este acontecimiento tan bello y significativo.🥹✨

The supermoon began to appear in the sky around 11 p.m., although it was heavily covered by clouds and difficult to see. However, around midnight, it began to shine more brightly, and all the clouds parted to reveal the queen of the sky—a truly sublime and mesmerizing sight.

La súper Luna comenzó a posicionarse en el cielo alrededor de las 11 de la noche, aunque estaba muy cubierta de nubes y no se podía apreciar bien. Sin embargo, ya a las 12 y algo, empezó a brillar más intensamente y todas las nubes le cedieron espacio a la reina del cielo, algo bastante sublime e hipnótico de contemplar.

Since I recently got a new phone, I wanted to try out the night mode and professional mode, which basically lets you control the contrast and everything related to the image's appearance. So I took several photos with night mode, which looks quite sharp and brings out the colors very well, in my opinion. I also used professional mode because when the clouds surrounded the moon, they created beautiful silhouettes and the illusion that the moon was being swallowed up, so to speak. Obviously, I wanted to capture this image.

Aprovechando que recientemente cambié de teléfono, quise probar cómo era el modo nocturno y el modo profesional, que básicamente te permite controlar los contrastes y todo lo relacionado con la apariencia de la imagen; Así que tomé varias fotos con el modo nocturno, el cual se ve bastante nítido y resalta muy bien los colores, a mi parecer. También utilicé el modo profesional, ya que en el momento en que las nubes rodeaban la luna, aparecían siluetas muy bonitas y la ilusión de que la luna estaba siendo devorada, por así decirlo, por las nubes. Obviamente, quise capturar esta imagen.

With this particular photo, I already knew how to handle the professional mode, so I wanted the full moonlight to stand out on the clouds. Since they were creating a lot of shadow, I took advantage of the contrasts to capture it this way. I think the result was very beautiful; it looks as if the moon were in the sea, or at least that's what I also wanted to reflect.

Con esta foto en particular, ya sabía cómo manejar el modo profesional, así que quise que la luz completa de la luna resaltara en las nubes,como estaban creando mucha sombra, aproveché los contrastes para capturarla de esta manera; Creo que el resultado fue muy bonito; parece como si la luna estuviera en el mar, o al menos eso es lo que también quise reflejar.

Of all the photos I took, this one is definitely my favorite. All the clouds clustered around the moon, which, as always, was the center of attention. The texture the clouds give the sky makes it look like the moon is drawing you in or something. Honestly, it was an image that captivated me at first glance, and I wanted to recreate it. For this image, I used night mode, since there was nothing to change about such a sublime image as that night.

De todas las fotos que tomé, mi favorita definitivamente es esta, ya que todas las nubes se agruparon alrededor de la luna, que como siempre fue el centro de atención. Además, la textura que las nubes le dan al cielo parece que la luna te estuviera absorbiendo o algo así. La verdad es que fue una imagen que, a simple vista, me fascinó y quise recrear automáticamente, para esta imagen utilicé el modo nocturno, ya que no había nada que cambiarle a una imagen tan sublime como la de esa noche.

And finally, I took this photo in pro mode. It looks like the moon is crescent-shaped, but it isn't; rather, it was already waning. It was 1 a.m., and every hour the moon seemed to change shape. I wanted to capture at least three hours of that. Definitely, one of my favorite pastimes will be taking pictures of landscapes, since no two are alike; they are all so different. I hadn't seen a moon like this since I was about 15, and I can assure you that there are landscapes that accompany you at certain moments in your life and leave a lasting impression. In fact, on the night of my 15th birthday, there was also a supermoon or full moon, and now, at 18, these have been moments that have deeply impacted me, and the moon has always been with me through these experiences. Therefore, I enjoy taking photos of it to remember, although I think I'll never forget this iconic night. I enjoyed it with a beer in hand, some sweets, and the peace that fills the air on quiet nights, when the city finally sleeps and there's not a sound. Simply beautiful and priceless.

Y para finalizar, esta foto la tomé con el modo pro. Pareciera que la luna estuviera en forma de media luna, pero no es así; más bien, ya estaba bajando. Eran la 1 de la mañana y cada hora la luna parecía cambiar de forma. Quise recrear al menos tres horas de eso. Definitivamente, uno de mis pasatiempos favoritos será tomar fotos a los paisajes, ya que ninguno es igual; todos son muy diferentes. No había visto una luna así desde que tenía unos 15 años, y puedo asegurar que hay paisajes que te acompañan en momentos determinados de tu vida y te marcan para siempre. Justamente, la noche de mis 15 años, también había una súper luna o luna llena, y ahora, a mis 18, han sido momentos que me han marcado mucho, y la luna siempre me ha acompañado en estos procesos. Por lo tanto, disfruto tomarle fotos para recordar, aunque creo que esta noche tan icónica no se me olvidará. La acompañé con una cerveza en la mano, algunos dulces y la paz que se respira en las noches tranquilas, donde la ciudad por fin duerme y no se escucha nada. Simplemente hermosa y no tiene precio.
