Psycho - Pass How far can the banality of evil and misapplied ethics go?

How are you my dear friends of the anime community? I hope you are all doing well and with lots of good anime, on this wonderful occasion I want to share with you all a brief review and analysis of an anime that the first time I saw it left me somewhat impacted by its story and message, I'm talking about Psycho-Pass.

Cómo están mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de anime espero se encuentren todos muy bien y con full anime bueno en esta en estar tan linda ocasión quiero compartir con todos una pequeña reseña y análisis de un anime el cual la primera vez que lo vi me dejó algo impactado por su historia y mensaje , estoy hablando de Psycho - Pass.

The story presents a futuristic world where a person's criminal coefficient can be measured by a psychological scanner, which determines if the person can commit crimes and if he is a possible criminal, our protagonist Akane Tsunemori, inspector recently assigned to "Unit 1" for her high grades at the university and her high IQ allows her to reach the unit and meet Shiya Kōgami who was previously also an inspector (but for mysterious reasons, I will not give spoiler of what happened to him) is demoted from his rank and placed as executor of said unit working together with Akane for the resolution and maintenance of peace in the city, along with the other members of the unit including Inspector Nobuchika Ginoza and executors Tomomi Masaoka, Shusei Kagari and Yayoi Konizuka.

La historia nos presenta un mundo futurista donde el coeficiente criminal de una persona se puede medir ,mediante un escáner psicológico ,el cual determina si la persona puede cometer crímenes y si es un posible criminal, nuestra protagonista Akane Tsunemori inspectora recién asignada a la "Unidad 1" por sus altas calificaciones en la universidad y su alto coeficiente intelectual le permite llegar a la unidad y conocer a Shiya Kōgami que anteriormente también era inspector( pero por cuestiones misteriosas ,no daré spoiler de lo que le pasó )es bajado de su rango y puesto como ejecutor de dicha unidad trabajando en conjunto con Akane para la resolución y el mantenimiento de la paz en la ciudad, junto con los demás miembros de la unidad entre esos el inspector Nobuchika Ginoza y los ejecutores Tomomi Masaoka, shusei Kagari y Yayoi Konizuka.

The first season apart from explaining how the rigid psychological scanners work by the "sibyl system" of how this futuristic world is managed, they also present us with certain cases that make the interest of Akane and her subordinate Shinya change and investigate further why the system fails since there is a character with a low crime coefficient but they are potential criminals and causes the city to melt into chaos, then the mission of these heroes changes to catch him, but they have to do it on their own since the system in general reveals itself against them and they do not have the support of the main authorities. The end of the first season leaves a little confusion since Akane along with Shinya discover how the Silby system works and operates, which are pure brains of very intelligent people with a very high IQ which are organized in the main tower of the organization that developed this system, they tell Akane to join them however she rejects it and there ends the first season.

La primera temporada aparte de explicar cómo funcionan los escáneres psicológicos rígidos por el "sistema sibyl" de como se maneja este mundo futurístico, también nos presentan ciertos casos que hacen que el interés de Akane y su subordinado Shinya cambien e investiguen más a fondo el por qué, el sistema falla ya que existen un personaje con un coeficiente bajo de criminalística pero son delincuentes en potencia y hace que la ciudad se funda en un caos ,entonces la misión de estos héroes cambia a atraparlo ,pero lo tienen que hacer por su cuenta ya que el sistema en general se revela contra de ellos y no cuentan con el apoyo de las autoridades principales. El final de la primera temporada deja un poquito de confusión ya que Akane junto con Shinya descubren cómo funciona y opera el sistema Silby, que son puros cerebreros de personas muy inteligentes con un coeficiente intelectual muy alto los cual están organizados en las torre principal de la organización que desarrolló este sistema, estos le dicen a Akane que se une a ellos sin embargo ella lo rechaza y ahí termina la primera temporada.

Psycho - Pass is a very underrated anime gem since its premiere apart from being a cyberpunk science fiction story among other currents, is also very well structured, it has influence from other anime and real-life stories and a philosophical message, since in the course of the story Akane is a person who follows the system and agrees with it, however when she gets deeper into it and sees situations that do not seem right to her, she begins to awaken, questioning many, one of them is the fact that people with a zero criminal coefficient which should be exemplary citizens are full of evil and cause havoc in the city being the worst criminals in the world and for this reason the system does not judge them, but there are people who do not have the intention of killing or doing anything wrong, unfortunately they have a high criminal coefficient and therefore are judged, taken to rehabilitation centers or placed as executioners, this was the case of several executioners in unit 1. I found the anime interesting, I only saw the first season, however it has three seasons and without more I Equivoco has two films. Psycho touches on philosophical issues such as justice and the relativity of this concept, what is truly right or wrong apart from many sociological themes that show the different realities that are not exempt from our daily lives, it is also an anime that reflects moral and ethical themes such as the existential crisis that Akane presents when she breaks what for her for so many years was the right thing to do and is on the wrong side of the scale in a system that is so advanced but at the same time full of flaws and double-moralism.

Psycho - Pass es una joyita de anime muy infravalorada ya que su premiere aparte de ser una historia de ciencia ficción cyberpunk entre otras corrientes, también está muy bien estructurado tiene influencia de otros animes e historias de la vida real y un mensaje filosófico, ya que en el recorrido de la historia Akane es una persona que sigue el sistema y está de acuerdo con el, sin embargo cuando se va adentrando en este y ve situaciones que no le parecen empieza su despertar, cuestionando muchas , una de ellas es el hecho de personas con un coeficiente criminal nulo las cuales deberían ser ciudadanos ejemplares están llenos de maldad y hacen destrozos en la ciudad siendo los peores criminales del mundo y por esto el sistema no los juzga, pero existen personas que no tienen la intención de matar ni de hacer nada malo desgraciadamente tienen el coeficiente criminal alto y por ello sin juzgadas, llevadas a centros de rehabilitación o las colocan como ejecutadores, este fue el caso de varios ejecutadores en la unidad 1 .Me pareció interesante el anime, yo nada más vi la primera temporada, sin embargo tiene tres temporadas y sin más no me equivoco tiene dos películas.Psycho toca filosóficos como lo es la justicia y la relatividad de este concepto ,lo que verdaderamente está bien o no aparte de muchos temas de sociología que muestran las diferentes realidades que no están exentas de lo nuestro día a día, también es un anime que refleja temas morales y éticos como lo es la crisis existencial que presenta Akane al romper lo que para ella durante tanto tantos años era lo correcto y estar del lado incorrecto de la balanza en un sistema tan avanzado pero a su vez cuadrado fallos y doble moralista.

If what you want is to watch an anime to think for a while, make confounding theories, study cool topics of sociology, philosophy and history, Psycho-Pass is for you. The first season left me speechless and I'm waiting to see the second and third seasons, apart from the movies; It is an anime with a lot of lore and enough material to be successful, although for me it is a story that criticizes the system and its flaws and what these flaws can do to individuals in a negative way apart from showing both sides of the same coin, and that not all bad people are objects that do not deserve a second chance and not all people who appear to be good really are, that is why I say that it is an anime that shows the double standards of a system and various perspectives such as Akane's and Inspector Ginoza's who follows the system to the letter not wanting to accept the damage that it can achieve, we are shown psychological and behavioral profiles of attitudes that we can see day by day in topics such as politics where there are people who support a party to the death and do not want to study or observe more than their noses, others who challenge the system and the neutrals who do not care about anything as long as it does not affect them although it clearly will affect them, I think the most present sociological theme here would be the banality of evil and how far they can reach concepts such as ethics, morality and good.

Si lo que quieres es ver un anime para pensar un rato, hacer teorías confulativas, estudiar temas chidos de sociología filosofía e historia Psycho -Pass es para ti ,la primera temporada me dejó boquiabierta ando esperando verme la segunda y tercera temporada a parte de las películas; es un anime con mucho lore y bastante material para ser exitoso, aunque para mí es una historia que critica el sistema y sus fallas y lo que estas fallas pueden hacerle a los individuos de manera negativa aparte de mostrar los dos lados de una misma moneda ,y que no todas las personas malas son objetos que no merecen una segunda oportunidad y no todas las personas que aparentan ser buenas realmente lo son, por eso digo que es un anime que muestra la doble moral de un sistema y varias perspectivas como lo es la de Akane y la del inspector Ginoza el cual sigue al pie de la letra al sistema no queriendo aceptar el daño que este puede lograr, se nos muestran perfiles psicológicos y conductistas de actitudes que podemos ver día a día en temas como la política donde hay personas que apoyan un partido hasta la muerte y no quieren estudiar ni observar más de sus narices ,otros que desafían el sistema y los neutros a los cuales no les importa nada mientras que eso no les afecte a ellos aunque claramente les va a afectar, creo que el tema sociológico más presente aquí sería la banalidad del mal y hasta dónde pueden llegar los conceptos como la ética la moral y el bien.
