🍻🍻The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 450🍻🍻

Greetings, fellow beer lovers! This week I'm participating in the weekly challenge set by this community of lovers of good drinks. Yesterday I was doing some tasks that were neither pleasant nor enjoyable. I'm one of those people who doesn't like paperwork, but I always try to get it done as soon as possible. I don't like late fees or warnings, and I admit that this type of task causes me stress, but as a responsible adult, I have to do it. With deadlines set, I headed into an endless afternoon of going to an office to pick up a form, then to the bank, then back to the office to finish the paperwork. So it was a couple of hours that seemed endless to me, but I met the deadlines, which gives me peace of mind. Out of nowhere, my mind associated finishing a task with a reward, so without further ado, I set out to reward myself.

So, without further ado, I decided to take a break and cool off. And how do we cool off here in Colombia? Quickly and effectively: with a cold beer, the best way to “quench your thirst", as we say. It was a quick but necessary break; I just wanted two cold beers to recharge my batteries, so I went into a very typical local bar, a kind of tavern, where you can have a few drinks, watch a soccer game, even bring your lunch and hang out for a while. I didn't hesitate and settled down to rest and have a drink.

I must confess that I always drink the same beer on occasions like this, that is, when I'm out and about with no plans or activities lined up. I think this is one of my favourite beers; it's light, inexpensive, and, without a doubt, refreshing. So I don't think twice and enjoy it. It's a traditional Águila Light beer here in Medellín.

Another beer that I really like, and that I hadn't had in a long time, is this miniature drink; it's almost imperceptible, very smooth, clear, and light. It comes from the coastal beer with more body and bitterness; this one, its daughter, is smooth and refreshing. I especially like it because of the colour of the bottle, the size, and the artwork, which is very simple and retro, but I remember a drink in Venezuela that was very similar; it didn't have alcohol, and it was called CHINOTTO, if my memory serves me right. They are really very similar, so I drank this one remembering my childhood.
