Splinterlands Social Media Challenge | The lowest mana battle!

Namaste to all the Wonderful Warriors of Splinterlands!πŸ™

This is my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! For this week's challenge, I've chosen one of the lowest mana battles I've ever fought. You will surely enjoy it and will also learn something. :)

The total mana cap for this battle was just 12, including the summoner's mana cost as you all know.

Rule set (Standard)Meaning
This ruleset means there would be no modification to the standard gameplay rules.

Summonerdetails
I chose Tarsa a summoner of the Fire element whose mana cost was 4. This Summoner would provide +1 melee attack and +1 health to all friendly monsters. She is really a great fire summoner especially when you have a low mana cap.

Monsters on the battlefield!

1st position (Radiated Scorcher)Ability
Mana cost of this monster is 1, it has no ability but 2 health. I put it in first place so that it can protect my main monster.

2nd position (Venka the Vile)Ability
This monster has a mana cost of 7 and it has 2 abilities, one is Charge and another is Piercing. With a Charge ability, this unit may use melee attacks from any position and will target the enemy unit in the first position and with a Piercing ability, if melee or ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's armour, the remainder will damage the target's health.

With these 2 monsters, I created my team using all my mana caps. Out of which 4 mana spent on my summoner, 1 is the cost of my first position monster and 7 mana is of my main monster.

Now I will take you to the battlefield!

Round 1

This scene looks like the last round of a typical battle, right? But due to less mana, my opponent and I are facing each other in this battle with 2 monsters each. Since my opponent's summoner had no power his monsters got nothing. But my monsters had one melee and 1 health more than their initial melee and health.

I did not put my main monster in front because while choosing monsters, I gave more importance to attacking power than health, so I had to protect my main monster from first attacks.

Round 1.3

Thankfully, it was my turn to strike first, but I did not know this in advance, hence it is better to be prepared for different situations while making a strategy.
You see, in the very first attack, my main monster reduced 5 health of the opponent's first positioned monster, however, due to its Thorns ability, my monster also lost 2 of his health.

Round 1.4

But from an effect point of view, my monster has caused more damage and in this way, if this monster of mine gets a chance to attack just one more time, then this battle will end there.

Round 1.6

But here one thing which I had completely forgotten is that my opponent also has a healer and this is the main part of his strategy because soon after his healer recovered his 3 health and now it is alive with a total of 7 health.

Round 1.7

The very next moment, my first-positioned monster reduced the opponent's health by 2 with his melee attack, however, he also died due to the opponent's Thorns ability but after the damage it has caused to the opponent, now a single attack from my main monster is enough to knock out the opponent.
Do you think my strategy will work or will the opponent's healer come into the frame once again and change the course of the battle?

If you are as excited as me and want to enjoy this battle to the fullest, then here is its link. Go and have fun! : )

Conclusion and what I learned!

I really think that the opponent had a good strategy and could have dominated my monsters if I had given less importance to attacking power while choosing my monsters. So one very important thing is that on one hand, more health can make you last a little longer, but if your attacking power is weak then it is possible that even after living a long time, you may lose in the battle. Because in this game you never know what will happen next.

I hope you liked my battle and my writing!
