Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Conclave Arcana Conflicts!
Namaste to all fellow players of Splinterlands!
In this week's Community Engagement Challenge, we are talking about the Conclave Arcana Conflicts — a 30-day strategic staking event where every decision we make can earn us exclusive rewards and reshape the magical front lines. So, stay tuned to the blog, you will enjoy it!
The conclave arcana conflict battle has finally begun!
Welcome to the first Conclave Arcana Conflict, a 30-day event where players can stake cards and packs to earn points and receive exclusive airdrop rewards! This is my first time seeing something like this, but if you're familiar with Rebellion Conflicts, you'll feel right at home here - but with new mechanics, card types, and strategic depth, this is a whole different battlefield.
Recently, I saw on Discord that people are not very happy with the points and rewards earned in this conflict. As I said, this is my first time, so I did not become a part of those discussions, but I read many comments, and I did not expect it, but Splinterlands officials quickly responded to i,t and now they are making adjustments for the next airdrop. This shows that you are never overlooked in Splinterlands.
🔥 The Conflict!
From what I can gather, this is an open loot that will benefit Conclave Arcana cardholders the most.
It's simple, you have to stake your cards and packs in Battle Wagons over a period of 30 days, after which you will earn points based on the stakes you place. Then, finally, based on your total points earned, you will receive airdrop rewards where participants will be airdropped a brand new Conclave Arcana card! All Mage wagons, both existing and new, are a part of this. Each wagon can hold up to 5 cards and up to 100 packs (any Rebellion or CA packs). However, as I mentioned, CA cardholders will benefit the most from this, as the points breakdown shows that CA Cards have full collection power in points, while Rebellion Cards have half the collection power in points.
Apart from this, if you need more wagons, you can do wagon crafting, or you can also repair your wagons. For craftin,g you will need 40,000 Wood, 10,000 Stone, 4,000 Iron, and 2,500 Aura, and all these are tradeable, so to buy these kits, you can visit the non-card market where you can easily buy them through DEC or Credits. Apart from this, every time you get an airdrop card in this conflict, one of your wagons will also be damaged, whether you have used that wagon in this conflict or not. For example, you have 100 wagons out of which you used 50 for filling cards and you earned 60 cards through airdrop. So even though you used only 50 wagons, at the rate of 1 wagon for every airdropped card, your 60 wagons will be damaged, which you will then have to repair.
However, there is also a preparation phase between each conflict in which you can visit the crafting station and repair your damaged wagons before the next conflict.
🎁 Rewards System
Every 100,000 points earns you 1 entry toward the Conflict airdrop.
Each entry has a 0.125% chance to receive the Conflict card.
A guaranteed drop is awarded after 800 entries.
For every 25 cards received in one Conflict, you are guaranteed 1 Gold Foil version.
If you use alchemy potions to boost all of your chances, it will be reduced to: For every 13 cards received in one Conflict, you are guaranteed 1 Gold Foil version.
Since I am seeing something like this for the first time in my journey, to be honest, I find all this very exciting. For those users who are doing well here and who have Conclave Arcana cards, this conflict is a good opportunity to earn great rewards and cards. According to me, the Splinterlands team has done a great job here, and the way they quickly understood and worked on the user disagreements on Discord is also commendable. For now, I am focused on improving my in-game ranking and also adding better cards to my deck, for which I am going slow and steady and following the strategy of making different cards a permanent part of the deck after testing. Hopefully, soon, I will also be a part of this conflict.
For now, I wish all the players taking part in this conflict all the best!🍀
