Who Lives On a Flower?

avatar

Bzzz!
Today, in a flower bed, I noticed a familiar spider)) This is a Crab Spider.

It is interesting because it does not weave a web. Instead, it disguises itself as a flower and waits for its prey to fly to the flower itself.

Usually these spiders are located on yellow or white flowers for camouflage, but even I noticed this hunter from a distance.

A strange choice, considering that there is a yellow flower very close by, soft and fluffy like a pillow)

And since today is a post about insects on flowers, I see the point of adding to our group an underestimated mosquito)

And of course, a beautiful and useful Plebejus Argus is also in a hurry to show you its luxurious velvet wings.
