The other cards were chosen to inflict maximum damage, and the Ruler of the Sea also managed to reduce the damage of all enemies with the Silence 
ability, giving my team a significant advantage. The debuff and the presence of Baakjira were enough to make the opponent's victory impossible.
These cards are incredible and are currently much more accessible for both renting and buying due to the significant drops that have occurred during the Bear Market. Let's take the Ruler of the Seas as an example, which has depreciated from $50 to 24 in the last 6 months (it was worth even more before that). Some may consider this a reason not to buy this card, while others will see it as a great opportunity to build a more powerful collection.
During each battle in Splinterlands, you can observe which cards have the most impact on your gameplay and then evaluate the cost-effectiveness of acquiring them. A coleção Alpha/Beta possuía o melhor invocador focado em magia do jogo (Alric Stormbringer) mas haviam poucas cartas para formar uma composição completa, porém a partir da coleção Untamed as opções aumentaram bastante, proporcionando verdadeiras guerras de magia!
Eu sempre considerei o elemento Água o melhor quando o assunto é Dano Mágico porém cada elemento possui sua própria gama de opções para formar times bem qualificados. Hoje eu enfrentei um time formado majoritariamente por Dragões de dano mágico e essa batalha foi bem interessante.
Apesar desses dragões terem combinações de habilidades bem interessantes, faltam para eles alguns recursos defensivos para tornar a frontline mais robusta. Visando cobrir essa deficiência o oponente optou pelo Prismatic Energy que é uma ótima opção defensiva contra ataques mágicos, mas será que apenas essa carta é o suficiente?
Como eu disse o elemento Água possui opções de cartas incríveis para enfrentar dano mágico. O Baakjira é um tank fenomenal e possui um combo de habilidades robusto que lhe fornece alta capacidade de sobrevivência contra esses ataques. Além disso eu também escolhi o Djinn Oshannus e complementei a linha de frente com o Prismatic Energy para ter certeza que o oponente nunca conseguisse passar por cima dessas cartas.
As outras cartas foram escolhidas para causar o máximo de dano e adicionalmente o Ruler of the Sea também conseguiu reduzir o dano de todos os inimigos com a habilidade Silence dando uma grande vantagem para o meu time. Bastou esse debuff e a presença do Baakjira para tornar impossível a vitória do oponente.
Essas cartas são incríveis e atualmente são bem mais acessíveis tanto para alugar quanto comprar devido às grandes quedas que aconteceram ao longo do Bear Market. Vamos tomar como exemplo o Ruler of the Seas que nos últimos 6 meses teve uma desvalorização de $50 para 24 (antes disso a carta valia mais ainda). Alguns podem considerar isso como um motivo para não comprar essa carta, outros verão como uma grande oportunidade de montar uma coleção mais poderosa.
Durante cada batalha no Splinterlands é possível observar quais são as cartas mais impactantes na sua gameplay e depois avaliar o custo-benefício de adquiri-las. Sometimes, a card depreciates in price in the market, but actually does well and play a significant role in your gameplay. Djinn Oshannus is such card. I bought it at 39$ one time at the peak of the bull market, but at the moment the price decline makes it difficult to see it as a retainer of value.
