DOUBLE STRIKE

Tenho certeza que você também já foi destruido em alguma partida do Splinterlands contra um oponente utilizando cartas com Double Strike então que tal aprendermos várias estratégias para nós nos tornarmos esse jogador?

Se você ainda não sabe o que essa habilidade faz eu irei começar essa explicação pelo básico. A habilidade Double Strike concede a capacidade de atacar duas vezes à carta que possuí-la, esse efeito por si só já é muito bom pois comumente essas cartas causam muito dano ao oponente e conseguem liderar a ofensiva do seu time e isso pode ser amplificado se combinado com outras habilidades.

ESTRATÉGIAS

Existem diversas cartas com essa habilidade mas nem todas combam da mesma maneira então irei dar alguns detalhes sobre como combar cada tipo de carta. O primeiro objetivo que deve ser buscado em todas as cartas com Double Strike é o level up. Aumentar o level das suas cartas sempre será positivo mas quando falamos de cartas com essa habilidade o aumento de 1 de dano possui efeito dobrado e por isso é tão importante conseguir alcançar essa marca com suas cartas.

O level ideal irá variar de acordo com cada carta e a liga que você joga, mas irei dar alguns exemplos para facilitar o entendimento. O Dhampir Infiltrator possui apenas 1 de dano nos leveis iniciais mas a partir do level 4 seu ataque aumenta para 2, isso resulta na capacidade de causar 4 de dano na rodada caso seus dois ataques sejam bem sucedidos. Outro exemplo é o Silvershield Assassin que ganha esse aumento de dano no level 3, o Carnage Titan aumenta seu ataque no level 2 e etc.

Cabe à você fazer sua pesquisa e ver quais cartas é possível nivelar adequadamente e fazer esse investimento para adicioná-las à sua coleção. Com esse objetivo realizado você já terá dobrado a capacidade ofensiva das suas cartas com Double Strike e agora chegou a hora de aprendermos as melhores estratégias para amplificar ainda mais o potencial dessas cartas.

De modo geral essas cartas possuem alguma habilidade principal que lhes permite atacar de outras posições como as três exemplificadas acima, mas existem outras que são incapazes de atacar da linha de trás e não possuem estatísticas boas para serem colocadas na primeira posição. As cartas Hobgoblin e Undead Minotaur são exemplos mais antigos e recentemente foram adicionadas outras duas que também se enquadram, a Coastal Sentry e a Possessed Puppet. Nesses casos é extremamente importante que utilizemos estas cartas em conjunto com alguma regra de combate que resolva esse problema, as principais são Equal Opportunity , Melee Mayhem e Super Sneak .

É claro que eu preciso mencionar o principal combo com essas habilidades que são os buffs de dano. Se essas cartas já possuem alta capacidade de causar dano, o que aconteceria se você utilizasse um buff que as beneficia duas vezes? É isso que torna a Double Strike tão brutal!

O buff irá depender do tipo de dano causado pelas suas cartas mas em sua maioria serão danos físicos que são facilmente buffados quando há outra carta em campo com a habilidade Inspire . Essa simples habilidade é capaz de amplificar enormemente a capacidade de dano destas cartas e fazer com que a sua ofensiva se torne extremamente poderosa.

Você também irá querer utilizá-las em partidas com a regra Explosive Weaponry pois o efeito do Blast será aplicado duas vezes quando as cartas com Double Strike atacarem. Se você pretende fazer esse combo o ideal é que você tente nivelar o dano dessas cartas para um número impar pois isso amplificará o dano do Blast .

Para isso geralmente é necessário combinar várias das estratégias citadas acima para alcançar esse dano ideal. O Silvershield Assassin no level 3 combinado com o Silvershield Knight ficará com 3 de ataque e causará muito dano nessa situação.

NA PRÁTICA

Se você quer ver a habilidade Double Strike funcionando na prática, então acompanhe essa batalha em que eu utilizei três cartas com essa habilidade e amplifiquei o dano delas com o invocador Daria Dragonscale.

Apesar do time inimigo estar bem robusto eles foram incapazes de aguentar tanto dano sendo causado por essas cartas e foram facilmente eliminados. Essa é a ideia principal de utilizar essa habilidade, eliminar rapidamente qualquer inimigo que seja atacado causando um altíssimo dano.

Se você gostou dessas cartas e pretende incrementá-las à sua coleção, então considere iniciar pelas novas Soulbound que possuem essa habilidade, mas há também outra opções muito baratas que valem a pena comprar como por exemplo o Dhampir Infiltrator que está custando menos de $0,10 por unidade ou o Grund que já no level 1 custando apenas $0,65 já é capaz de fazer um grande estrago no time inimigo. The Dhampir Infiltrator has only 1 damage at early levels, but from level 4 its attack increases to 2, resulting in it being able to deal 4 damage in a round if its two attacks are successful. Another example is the Silvershield Assassin who gains this increased damage at level 3, the Carnage Titan increases his attack at level 2, and so on.

It is up to you to do your research and see which cards you can level up properly and make this investment to add them to your collection. With that goal accomplished you will have already doubled the offensive capacity of your cards with Double Strike and now it's time to learn the best strategies to amplify the potential of these cards even more.

Generally speaking these cards have some main ability that allows them to attack from other positions like the three exemplified above, but there are others that are unable to attack from the backline and don't have good stats to be placed in the first position. The Hobgoblin and Undead Minotaur cards are older examples and recently two others have been added that also fit, the Coastal Sentry and Possessed Puppet. In such cases it is extremely important that we use these cards in conjunction with some combat rule that solves that problem, the main ones are Equal Opportunity , Melee Mayhem and Super Sneak .

Of course I need to mention the main combo with these abilities is the damage buffs. If these cards already have high damage output, what would happen if you use a buff that benefits them twice? That's what makes Double Strike so brutal!

The buff will depend on the type of damage done by your cards but for the most part it will be physical damage that is easily buffed when there is another card on the field with the Inspire ability. This simple ability is able to greatly amplify the damage capacity of these cards and make your offense extremely powerful.

You will also want to use them in matches with Explosive Weaponry rule as the Blast effect will be applied twice when cards with Double Strike attack. If you intend to do this combo you should ideally try to level the damage of these cards to an odd number as this will amplify the damage of the Blast .

To do this you will usually need to combine several of the above strategies to achieve this optimal damage. The Silvershield Assassin at level 3 combined with the Silvershield Knight will have a 3 attack and do a lot of damage in this situation.

PRACTICE

If you want to see the Double Strike ability working in practice, then follow this battle where I used three cards with this ability and amplified their damage with the Daria Dragonscale summoner.

Even though the enemy team was very strong, they were unable to take that much damage being dealt by these cards and were easily eliminated. That is the main idea of using this ability, to quickly eliminate any enemy that is attacked with a very high damage.

If you like these cards and want to add them to your collection, then consider starting with the new Soulbound cards that have this ability, but there are also other very cheap options that are worth buy such as the Dhampir Infiltrator that is costing less than $0.10 per unit or the Grund that already at level 1 costing only $0.65 is already able to do great damage to the enemy team.
