Llevando a mi hermano al barbero [Esp/Eng]

Hola a todos, bienvenidos a mi blog.
Parte de ser hombre es tener que cortarse el pelo cada cierto tiempo. Cuando eres chico, mamá te lleva a la peluquería cada cierto tiempo para que te mantengas lindo y bello. Sin embargo, cuando creces, empiezas a pensar diferente y verte a ti mismo de modo diferente.
Mi hermano Rodrigo tiene tan solo 10 años y hoy en la mañana se me acercó y me dijo que tenía el pelo largo y que eso lo hacía sentirse como si fuera feo, y que por ende, quería ir a cortarse el pelo. Según el, se veía tan feo con el pelo largo que tenía que ponerse una gorra que tape su pelo para que no vean lo feo que es.

Tenía el día libre, así que decidí llevarlo a cortar el pelo a la barbería Babyblue donde yo también me corto el pelo. Me sentía realizado y orgulloso, como un padre llevando a su hijo a convertirse en hombre. Me sentía tan orgulloso de poder llevar a cabo este ritual masculino con mi hermano que me ofrecí a pagar el corte de mi hermano.

Estaba en juego el estilo de mi hermano y el dinero que había puesto para el corte, así que le pedí al barbero que le hiciera un corte bajo estilo militar, para que el corte durara el mayor tiempo posible.

Durante el corte de pelo, el barbero fue bastante meticuloso con el cabello de mi hermano. El barbero dijo que el pelo de mi hermano estaba muy sucio como para cortarlo así que le tuvieron que lavar el pelo para poder afeitar a mi hermano con mayor facilidad. Después de cortarle el pelo, mi hermano parecía un niño nuevo, dejó de parecerse a un monito y empezó a parecerse a un niño modelo. Mirad lo bien que le quedó!!!

Part of being a man is having to get your hair cut every so often. When you're a kid, your mom takes you to the barber every so often to keep you looking cute and handsome. However, when you grow up, you start to think differently and see yourself differently.
My brother Rodrigo is only 10 years old, and this morning he came up to me and said that his hair was long and that it made him feel ugly, and that he wanted to get a haircut. According to him, he looked so ugly with long hair that he had to wear a cap to cover it up so that people wouldn't see how ugly he was.

I had the day off, so I decided to take him to get his hair cut at Babyblue Barbershop, where I also get my hair cut. I felt fulfilled and proud, like a father taking his son to become a man. I felt so proud to be able to perform this masculine ritual with my brother that I offered to pay for his haircut.

My brother's style and the money I had put in for the cut were at stake, so I asked the barber to give him a low military-style cut so that the cut would last as long as possible.

During the haircut, the barber was quite meticulous with my brother's hair. The barber said that my brother's hair was too dirty to cut, so they had to wash his hair to be able to shave my brother more easily. After cutting his hair, my brother looked like a new kid. He stopped looking like a little monkey and started looking like a model child. Look how good it looked on him!
