Healthy visits can replace unhealthy visits

Humanity is diverse human psyche is diverse. Each mind feeds its own set of thoughts. Everyone possesses a different mindset keeping different approaches. Some are careless while some are narcissists. Some will be too much conscious while some will be sloppy. This diversity of psychology stretches to health as well.
Although health psychology must be universal i.e. to promote one’s and societal good health it varies as well. Some are so heedless about their health. This frivolous attitude might be vertical or horizontal. Vertical heedlessness means means careless nature of governments towards the health of their people. Vertical heedlessness is a lack of provisions and facilities to check bad health and promote good one.
Whereas horizontal heedlessness means a frivolous attitude toward the health of one’s health or the health of one's family. People show carelessness in health relying on their immunity which could be compromised due to poor living standards, undernourishment, and worse sanitary conditions. They not only ignore regular examinations but instead ignore their illness as well. It's psychological while sometimes it is due to doctorohobia, visiting predicaments, and lack of resources.
Routine checkups are very important for the overall improvement of health. Due to regular checkups, not only we can diagnose our diseases early but can better manage them to work on their root cause rather than symptoms. Studies have proved that regular check-ups reduce health costs as well because rigorous and expensive treatment is required in intense situations. Early detections can prevent disorders from worsening.
Regular check-ups are very useful in the management of chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension. While immunization, sometimes several doses are required with a gap of some days. We can easily detect deficiency of essential constituents or excess of non-essential and toxic constituents. Regular check-ups can help us know how our body is responding. Thus regular check-ups play an important and useful role in the purpose of good health.
When I was writing this, I was a bit ashamed as well. Despite knowing how good it is and how important regular check-ups are, I am careless on my part. It will be probably months ago that I might have visited a doctor or have my blood samples to be screened. I might be preaching others of good but I am far behind in it. But I have a little justification, though it's not sufficient but somehow it can pardon my guilt.
Being a medical student myself and being a member of a medical family where almost everyone is linked to the medical field, I do not feel as such need to go to doctors. Knowing and detecting signs in the early hours, not devaluing the importance of quality food, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, I am taking good care of my health. Not flauntingly but evidence of this is that I have not been ill for the last few months.
Have I always been careless? No. There will not be anyone who might have conducted covid tests more than me. I was punctual in taking immunity doses. Whenever I donate blood, I do it after properly getting my blood screened. I guess about a year ago, I donated blood and my blood was screaned that time.
But still, nothing can undermine the importance of regular checkups. There are many stereotypes about visiting medical practitioners. People fear visiting them considering only ill people visit them. But the reality is if healthy people started visiting doctors often and had regular check-ups,ratio of ill persons would be reduced.

We could say there's no problem with you being careless, after all, you can identify anything wrong with your body. But of course, there are specific procedures that will provide a better assessment than self-analysis.
