The Unfair Denial Of Women's Rights To Education

I believe we were both created by God male and female, not to make one more important than another but to complement each other stress and weakness. But it is rather unfortunately that that intention of the creator was misunderstood and misinterpreted. Now we will in a generation where male don't complement female but rather they compete and the men make the women feel less of who they are.
One backward tradition that has been in existence in my country is that hampers women rights, in particular the right to education, is the fact that women do not require equal rights to men in receiving education. When it comes to role modeling the majority of the people in Africa still believe that a woman should not be educated because when she grows up once she will be married off and she will definitely give birth to kids, and there is no point of wasting resources and time in women education, sime believe that women will always end up in thr kitchen cooking for their families so what then is the point? This belief has made many people to deny women their right to good and quality education and grew up contemplating their development.

For instance most families concentrate on educating their male child at the expense of the female child, train the boys and leave the girls to do house chores and other traditional activities like farming, trading and the rest. This keeps the injustice of gender going round and denies women an opportunity to be what they want to be.so many women back then in then before this present era were not supposed to study in school or to be employed in any sector as male ones and their position is considered to be a housewife. This latter one restricts their job opportunities as well as personal financial freedom and makes them rely on male employees. Women just grew up been prepared to get married one day and they were not given the opportunities to explore the world of education and to gain knowledge to express their full potentials.

These unfair traditions not only retard the individual development of the fair sex but also the progress of society as a whole. If women are not allowed to be education as is provided for the boys then the nation loses their potential and productivity. Because for a country to be developed everyone needs to be at least educated to the level they can read and write both male and female.it seen to me that women were just created for marriage and nothing more, meanwhile marriage was created for women not women for marriage. I remember vividly when growing up my siblings use to desire playing football with my bit my mom will always tell them that they are not supposed to be outside playing they are supposed to be in the kitchen learning how to cook and helping out with some chores. This made females in Africa are lacking behind when it's comes to sport activities which is not supposed to be so. These norms must be changed so as to promote egalitarian education such that everyone is empowered to live to his or her fullest potential.
