Music Is What Defines Me
Hello everyone,
Let me quickly share with you one thing I know for sure that defines me, living in a world of people having their own set of identities and character there is one thing which I think defines me the most, it my Love for Music. As a music teacher each time I prepare myself to go teach music to pupils in a primary school as a music teacher, this passion defining part comes into my mind. Spreading the knowledge about the existence of beauty in music among young people is not only a work for me but a vocation that forms my personality and gives meaning to my life.
Through my practice as an educator everyday engaging my students music making process and observing them as they transform into better musicians I am being reminded of the fact how much music is all about me. The satisfaction I receive when I learn to see that light of creativity in the eyes of my students and hear the passion in their voices as they discover and compose music. It is at these times that I am at my heartfelt best – a music appreciator and an educator with a vision that is aimed at build this love in others.
no matter how different the identities and backgrounds of peoples are around me, I am unique for my love for music. Even though this does not go well with the society’s expectations, when I was younger my parents never wanted me to study music or have anything to do with music as a profession and I just knew that I'm different and I'm not being an easy fit for the existing categories, being a music lover and a teacher gives me strength. That is why not only I am able to connect with other people, help my students, and be myself for what I have passion about.
Music is something that very common in the existence of human, so it is easy to really blend with others, some people stay around me because of music they enjoy, and trust me music That is the one which helps me go through the difficult periods and brings a certain level of comfort in uncertainty. I believe that music is very helpful to me as it gives me an opportunity to convey my feelings, ideas, and events which may be difficult to explain in words. Whether it is through the act of playing an instrument, composing a song or singing a tune, it creates a basis for me to convey and share a message and learn to understand complicated emotions with others.
My identity it is not about resembling the company of people around me or other people I interact with, but it is about who I am and that I should love myself. Biologically, my love for music is what decides who I am and I do interact and make choices in my life with music. It is with such a defining passion, that I get a sense of purpose as well as happiness, which in turn I develop a sense of oneness with my core self.
So if you ask me what makes me who I am, the answer would be my passion for music and my desire to teach and share it with others. it is through this passion that I am able to create meaning and purpose in my life It is not just who I am or what I like, I would say it is me, I breathe music and it defines who I am.

Music is a universal language. I think it's one of the best things in the world, especially good music, because nowadays there are many misnamed musicians or more specifically singers.
