Freedom Is Not Free, It's Come With Burden

Yesterday happened to be the independence day of my country Nigeria, and celebration was made in memory of that day we got oir independence when I thought and reflected on many things we have been able to achieve since we became a nation this piece came to my mind. Liberty is one of those things which all of us want and for which some of us we habr to fight for it. Just like my beloved country out hero's in the past had to fight for the freedom we all are enjoying today. But the truth is when we speak of freedom Its has a big impact on decisions and choices, options for life’s decisions and moments when no restrictions or limitations are being imposed. But the one thing that In many cases we do not realize is that with liberty comes equal or even more responsibility. Right now there is a lot of inflation in my country and I can say that it is one of responsibility of freedom we have to face as a nation.

Self generated decisions mean that we assume the outcomes of our decisions as well. This means that while we should be responsible for our conduct and fully own the results which be it good or bad. It can also be burdensome because this means that we are constantly planning and reviewing our actions and assessing how those actions will affect ourselves and those around us. I don't think my country ever thought of having this high rate of inflation, if not plans would have been made ahead of it. But nothing actually takes us by surprise, the result we have today are simple what we did some years ago.

Freedom also means decision making by ourselves and not have other people make decisions on our behalf. This can be a stressful exercise, meaning that we are thrown into the driver’s seat and have to accept the fact that there will always be certain challenges that will come with it. This aspect on the other hand, may sometimes be burdensome for most people to handle because it consists of a lot of risks that may deter any individual from taking a decision or making a risk in an endeavor.

freedom often means loneliness, people may experience some loneliness because they have chosen to be alone, research has it that when individuals have an option to do as they please, then they are alone in bearing the consequences. This can be a very depressing experience and we can feel like no one is out there to help us and we are all alone.

However, it is important not to forget that free people are also have some Advantages is why when we are on our own, able to choose whatever we want, we are able to live the life we want, do what we want and become who we really wato some extent The main idea of the perspective is the creation of accountability where an individual is assigned the blame for the outcome of their actions or decisions, through which one is also able to gain knowledge.

In conclusion, as we noted in the beginning freedom is not free it comes with a hefty price tag being a burden of responsibility it is a burden that is worth bearing. The freedom, thus, implies the challenges accepted directly acknowledging that we can build our own life, chase the dreams and become the better version of ourselves. Finally, responsibility , which being Free implies is yet again a price worth to pay for the many great opportunities and possibility that comes with freedom.
