I very much love how glossy it looks. I do not think I know any foods that are this smooth and glossy. And we use cassava to make swallow for soups where I'm from so I can imagine how smooth and soft this cake is. Well done.

As I read your post, I was (and will continue after I type this reply, LOL) eating a traditional meal handed down to us by my mother. It's a special kind of recipe with a special ingredient for rice that I really love. I also modify it by adding smoked fish when I can lay my hands on them. Haha, what a coincidence. Traditional meals and modified recipes.
