This is a king of all trees which is popularly known in southeast of nigeria.In igbo land it is commonly referred to as the "oke osisi".This tree is filled with mysteries as no animal or human dare to come close.in full details,The "anunu" translates to "Animals can't" then the "ebe" Translate to "perches" which in full means "Animals don't Perch".Only powerful native doctors can dare to go close which is before that, an appeasement is made.

The tree is said to grow in massiveness that it casts a large shadows around itself making it impossible for plants or birds to come near it not even it's shadows.
The powerful tree leaves never touches to ground.But forms cobwebs on it's treetop where the dry leaves fall.
One beneficial thing about the anunuebe tree is about the medicinal value curing diseases like syphilis, leprosy and other deadly diseases.One cannot go anyhow to the anunuebe tree.except he/she mets a powerful native doctor which are obtained by approaching the tree from afar,with incantation and throwing a live rooster at it.

Fun facts about about this tree is there's a specific month where it's claimed the spirit departs and it is the only time you can use it's tree,roots, leaves for use.
