What Pisses Me Off About People

A peeve is something or anything that annoys you, such as lies, bad odor, inappropriate behaviors from others, talkativeness, pride, underrating, crossing boundaries, playing with my intelligence, etc. Some of these peeves can be small annoyances that you can control and ignore. But peeves can seriously derail your productivity for the whole day if they are not being taken care of.

I will be writing on the peeves that annoy me the most, and one of them is pride. I hate pride with passion, claiming to have what you actually know you don't have can make you lose a alot from people , people that are supposed to help you will start seeing you as their Oga.

I remembered a friend's character when we just finish our youth service and was looking for a job, she rejected almost all the job she was offered reasons being that the take home was too small for her, we all saw her as big girl that came from wealthy family because she always tells us that her father is a lecturer in one of the most popular university.

when i finally got job, I didn't tell her because I knew the salary would be too small for her, I was doing my work with passion, dressing nice and taking care of myself with my little salary, she even brag that her father has told her to come back and start her master's forgetting that she came out with HND and can not proceed to masters immediately as she claimed.

That is when it down on me that she has been lying for all these while, a day came when she has exhausted all her NYSC money and needed money for feeding and other things, she came to me secretly and begged me to help her find Job in my office, I tried all I could but there was no vacancy in my office at that moment , she later got sales girl job in one supermarket where they treat her like maid and the salary was too poor but she didn't have option because she needed money at that point, the most funny thing is that I later found out her Dad is an ordinary gate man in one of the popular University in Country, what a shame.

Another thing that annoys me is playing with my intelligence; some persons can just come to you and try to know everything about you within some minutes; they will even go to t
an extent of trying to gain knowledge of what you paid for before acquiring it. They call themselves smart, but I call them deceitful smart angels. I passionately hate these kinds of individuals and always try to distance myself from them when I notice this kind of character.
