Embracing the Magic of the Blue Hour (My entry to POB Photo Contest)

I'm thrilled to participate in the #POBphotocontest and am dedicating today’s post as my first entry for the competition. The current theme: the color #BLUE is truly captivating. I love when photo contests center around colors because they play such a significant role in our daily lives. Whether it’s choosing clothing, bed sheets, or the color of our homes, our preferences are often influenced by the colors we’re naturally drawn to—even if we don’t consciously realize it.

For me, every time I go on a photo walk, I try to capture the enchanting "Blue Hour" whenever I can. It’s a moment that perfectly encapsulates the beauty and allure of this theme.

Everytime I set out to explore a place in the city it seems that photos look much better under the blue hour.
The "blue hour" is a supernatural period of semi-darkness that occurs just before sunrise or after sunset, when the sky is decorated in soft shades of blue and the world feels windless and unearthly.This moment, often lasting 20 to 40 minutes, is cherished by photographers, artists, and dreamers alike for its surreal beauty and tranquil atmosphere.

I strive to bring a unique touch to my photography, uncovering and capturing the distinctive essence of every place I visit. Some locations exude a serene vibe, and I focus on showcasing their natural beauty to reflect that.

In vibrant and dynamic locations, I focus on capturing the full spectrum of colors they offer. In contrast, places with incredible architecture inspire me to make the structures the focal point of my shots.

During photo walks, I make intentional decisions to uncover hidden beauty that’s often overshadowed by the distractions around.
