Новий час і новий фріланс
Привіт! Пам'ятаю часи, коли в мережі можна було непогано заробляти на власних сайтах чи навіть написанні статей. Вистачало не лише на хліб з маслом, а навіть можна було й трохи відкласти. Але часи змінилися.
Мені подобалися часи, коли за місяць лише підготовкою статей на будь-яку тематику можна було заробити десь 3-4 “мінімалки”. Часом мені це вдавалося, іноді було й більше, а колись доводилося сидіти майже без роботи. Разом з тим ще працювало пару блогів і навіть на рекламі та нечастій реалізації посилань вдавалося заробити якісь копійки.
Йшли роки й зміни поступово вносили корективи. Зараз мені складно уявити, скільки потрібно грошей для виведення сайту в топ. Як можна стати конкурентом корпораціям та спеціалізованим агентствам. Те саме й з написанням публікацій. ШІ пише добре й при найпростішому редагуванні можна отримати дуже гарні тексти.
Мені здається, що велика кількість фрілансерів лишилася без роботи. Не кожен може та й, скоріше, не хоче вести відеоблог. Та в цьому сегменті конкуренція зашкалює. Єдиний блог, котрий у мене лишився, це блог на блокчейні Hive. Інших альтернатив вже не бачу. Та й цей блог, напевно, існує не для заробітку, а, скоріше, для душі. Хоча, чесно кажучи, він приносить близько 60 доларів на місяць. Щоб заробити такі гроші, наприклад, на AdSense потрібно, якщо не помиляюсь пару десятків тисяч відвідувачів. Хоча це ще залежить від тематики й країни. А спробуйте “просунути” сайт, щоб набрати органічну аудиторію в тисячі відвідувачів. Це при нинішній конкуренції непросто.
Насправді для фрілансу багато можливостей. Ще є якийсь дизайн, підтримка сайтів, просування, розробка тощо. Але я не бачу себе в жодному з цих напрямків й особливо у відео блогінгу. Вибір залишається невеликий — йти працювати. Хоча після багатьох років віддаленої роботи особливого бажання не маю. Цікаво, яким буде фріланс у майбутньому. Зараз навіть уявити собі не можу.

I liked the times when you could earn about 3-4 “minimums” per month just by preparing articles on any topic. Sometimes I managed to do it, sometimes it was more, and once I had to sit almost without work. At the same time, a couple of blogs still worked and even on advertising and infrequent implementation of links I managed to earn some pennies.
Years passed and changes gradually made adjustments. Now it’s hard for me to imagine how much money is needed to bring a site to the top. How can you become a competitor to corporations and specialized agencies. The same goes for writing publications. AI writes well and with the simplest editing you can get very good texts.
It seems to me that a large number of freelancers have been left without work. Not everyone can and, rather, does not want to run a video blog. But in this segment, competition is going crazy. The only blog I have left is a blog on the Hive blockchain. I don’t see any other alternatives. And this blog probably exists not for profit, but rather for the soul. Although, to be honest, it brings in about $ 60 a month. To earn that kind of money, for example, on AdSense, if I’m not mistaken, you need a couple of tens of thousands of visitors. Although it still depends on the topic and country. And try to “promote” the site to gain an organic audience of thousands of visitors. This is not easy with the current competition.
In fact, there are many opportunities for freelancers. There is also some design, site support, promotion, development, etc. But I don’t see myself in any of these areas, and especially in video blogging. The choice remains small - to go to work. Although after many years of remote work I don't have much desire. I wonder what freelancing will be like in the future. I can't even imagine it right now.
